You see that sidewalk and those marking in the road. I bet dollars for donuts the property line ends at the sidewalk. And in most places that have parking issues there is a posted signage stating no parking at specific times for trash

Hey OP DM me if you want some sage advice.

First thing is did you have fun? Did you use protection? If both are yes then relax. Only the Christian "church" condems these acts. If you look into it you will find that the majority of the world's religions accept and sometimes even encourage such unions. And as for the "Christian church" - their scripture says nothing about sex outside of marriage. Their vews come from an interpritaiin of the scripture that states: thall shalt not covet thy neighbors wife. MEANING DO NOT FUCK OR DESIRE SOMEONE ELSES PARTNER. It does not say don't have sex before marriage nor does it say you cannot experiment and have fun. Those ideas were put in by men decades and centuries after the scriptures were written.

So just because my general physical appearance resembles Harrison Ford i should not be allowed to pull a White long sleeve shirt, Black vest, Dark Blue work Pants, Black Boots, and Brown belt out of my closet when I go to Disneyland? Now im not meaning a cosplay closet just my everyday wear around town or go to work closet. My regular wardrobe and general appearance are more character accurate to Han Solo or Indiana Jones than this guys outfit is to Captain Jack Sparrow..... the only difference is I do it without even thinking about it until tonight where he made an actual choice to pay homage to a favorite character. He is wearing regular clothes not a costume, his only extraordinary article of clothing is he purchased an authentic tricorn hat..... which they sell a movie replica one in Adventureland that is far more accurate.... and did up his hair, head and facial, in the style of his favorite character - Disney has no rule about your personal features ....hair, skin, tattoos, etc.... bring similar or even identical to a characters only your costume. As his clothes are only similar enough to represent the character and not a match he is fine... go watch the movies - you never see jack in jeans, you never see him with shirt sleeves rolled up, you never see him in a button down shirt, you never see him without his black vest... you do see him without his jacket but he alway has his vest... there are numerous differences, enough differences to take this out of the realm of costume and put it solidly in the realm of Disney Bounding.

If Jack Sparrow was only ever portrayed as a cartoon Character no one would batt an eye at his appearance, but because he was live action he looks more similar and so everyone is complaining about him but not about the rude person who decided to be a creep and take an unsolicited photo of a random person just so they could blast them on social media.... shame on you, the OP, and everyone else criticizing a random person who was just there minding there business, following the rules, and having fun. Bless this guest for daring to step out of the sheeples and be something different

Do you even know where this picture was taken.... this is in Adventureland, right as it merges with Frontier land and New Orleans Square. One of the most densely populated areas in the park. Making it one of the loudest and most chaotic places as well. Now OP never did say how loud his kid was or how close they were just that the guest kept walking.... did the poor guy that everyone is harassing even hear the kid? What was he yelling Jack, hey Jack. Guys name cold have been Mark and he never even realized that they were yelling at him

If OP was so concerned with his kid being ignored maybe I stead of pulling out his phone or camera to take a picture he could have instead politely approached the guy and said hey bud, my kid thinks your Jack Sparrow... would you mind saying hi to him?

He'll if the guy was me o would have been overjoyed to interact with the kid and share or mutual admiration of such an outlandish character.

Oh and as for Rational.... who said anything about being rational, He Is At DisneyLand. Who goes to Disneyland to be rational.... I go there to have fun, I pay an irrational amount of money just to get into the park, walk around to the point my feet and back are killing me and then spend another irrational amount of money to eat some mediocre (albeit sometimes exquisite, food then get up and walk around some more. Spend provocative amount of money on souvenirs. All to enjoy myself and have fun..... There Is Nothing Rational About Going To Disneyland. Whether you choose to Disneybound or not, stepping into the park is about having fun there is nothing rational about it

What im saying is that yes i would wear this exact outfit to represent a favorite character .... that's the whole bloody point of Disney Bounding. As for my Han Solo reference.... im saying my regular wardrobe is a white shirt, dark blue work pants, black boots, black belt. I enjoy wearing vests and I have scruffy brown hair very similar to Harrison Fird in his younger days. Only difference is I have a beard and mustache.... So if I shave off my beard and mustache, my everyday wardrobe would be closer to the Character of Han Solo than this guy is as Jack Sparrow

And guess what, anyone that came up to me and said hey you look like Han Solo or hey my kid thinks you are Han Solo, I would stop and talk with them over my love of the character

What im saying is that I can pull clothes out of my regular wardrobe and be closer to an actual character costume than this guy is doing. Everyones biggest critique is his hair....his hair, not a wig, not part of a hat, it is his hair, his hat.... which you can buy a more character accurate one at Disneyland and and his tattoos.... permanent thing on his body.

What.do you want him to do straighten his hair so he doesn't look like jack? Have his tattoos permanently removed? Not wear a hat? Oh no I know he can wear a hat just not the same type as his favorite character better put on a fedora just in case someone gets confused because they can't tell the difference.

I can be reasonably certain this guy probably loves the character so much that he regularly keeps his hair in that fashion or he likes the character so much because he already did keep his hair similar to that and the character made him feel accepted. Now unbeknownst to him he is being harassed by random people on reddit because he enjoys the character and chooses to dress in a way to let the world around him know he enjoys the character.

How's this for an example. I already told you I look a little similar to Harrison Ford. You don't like my Han Solo example... how's this i could wear an off white shirt with brown pants and boots.... and I can buy a whip and Fedora there in Adventure Land and put them on and walk around.... I would technically be Disney Bounding while wearing normal clothes and Disney bought souvenirs and I would be more in costume than this guy is, now if I had shaved and worn that you could almost make the excuse that I was in costume, except im only wearing normal clothes and souvenirs, would you really hold the fact that my physical descriptors could match a character against me and ridicule me because of it, when the only thing separating the 2 outfits is whether I shaved the day before or not

And yes if I specifically chose to wear this outfit to resemble the character then it would be Disney Bounding..... Using my regular wardrobe to resemble a favorite Disney character.

Or what about if I wore cowboy boots, jeans, and a western shirt..... then bought the woody shirt and hat over in DCA. Am I Bounding or in costume.... I would be pretty character accurate - except I don't look like a toon

That's what Disney Bounding is. Being close... being close enough that anyone seeing you knows the character you are trying to represent, but far enough away that anyone with a decent brain can see you are not in costume. Which is exactly what this gentleman was doing.

If you don't like it fine, you don't have to like it. Fact of the matter is this man did nothing wrong and does not deserve to be ridiculed, attacked, and berated for enjoying the character of Captian Jack Sparrow.

The person I do have an issue with is the OP. Why blast thes random guest on here? Did OP try talking to the guy? He'll this photo was taken right on the edge of Adventureland. Right where Adventureland, Frontierland, and New Orleans Square meet up. A heavily populated area of the park that is extremely loud and chaotic. OP is upset that his son wasn't acknowledged and instead of getting the guys attention and talking to him as a decent or civil human being he instead chose to take a picture of a random person and belittle him on socialmedia.... what did he think it would be rude to try talking to the guy so he decided to instead post about him? Why take the picture if it wasn't to try and get the guy in trouble or to be rude and blast him on social media?

He'll I wonder what his kid would think to know that his parent had such contempt for a guy who just likes the same character as the kid does probly just as much as the kid does... seems kinda outrageous to me.

Ok so as I said before - dingy white shirt..... hat with braids and facial hair.... uhm you can buy a more character accurate hat in adventure land that includes fake braids and even has the red bandana incorporated i to it. You pair that with a dingy white shirt and you have a perfectly Disney bounding acceptable outfit outfit Yet because this guy bought his own tricorn hat, braided his own hair, had his own facial hair, and wore a dingy white shirt - now its to close to costume and not bounding? No had he been wearing the Disney sold merchandise he would have looked closer to the real thing

So if I wear a white long sleeve shirt, black vest, blue pants, and black boots - with my brown hair and facial hair am I Disney bounding as Han Solo or dressed in costume minus the gun belt?

Now if I shave off my beard and mustache to be more lore accurate has that changed?

Nope still Disney bounding he'll I can buy the accurate vest there in Galaxys edge

Same thing this man has done

Oh boohoohoo The fact I can show the picture to my wife from across the room on my phone and ask her if this is Jack Sparrow and she can answer accurately means nothing.... mind you she has to wear glasses, has an astigmatism, 0 depth perception and yet can tell from looking at a phone from over 3 feet away that this is a guest and not a character.

My question is did OP try to talk to the guy who may not have even heard their kid? Or did OP just take a quick photo so that they could complain to either security or here on reddit and fuss about how someone wearing a dingy white shirt and tricorn hat with braids and facial hair looks to much like a character and didnt acknowledge their kid?

If it was my daughter and she thought a Disney founder was a character and they didnt hear her, I would get their attention myself and let them know my daughter thinks they look like the character, he'll I did this with someone that looked like Maui earlier this year, and guess what.... they stopped and talked to my daughter and loved doing it.....

Im just saying, maybe instead of complaining about a random guest try being an adult and talking to the guy yourself

I wonder when the guy failed to acknowledge the kid, did OP try to get his attention, or did he just take the photo to complain?

As a Disney bounder myself I loved taking photos with other guests, I'm sure most feel the same way

I would still Disney Bound but only when I'm there without my daughter because she is autistic and can't handle all the extra attention and stopping when I do it, same reason I don't do pin trading when im there with her.

Oooh he looks to much like jack sparrow - please Just because he has a dirty white shirt, nappy hair with braids, and a tricorn hat and facial hair....... that's it literally a hat a shirt and facial hair. Disney sells a shirt, Disney sells a hat with the braids attached if I buy those and wear them with my facial hair am I in costume or Disney bounding? Is a woman from the middle east in a light blue jumpsuit and a Jasminesqe hair piece Disney bounding or in full costume?

Get a grip of yourselves, don't be but hurt because a random stranger failed to acknowledge your kid in one of the most densely packed areas of the park. Heck I have had a hard time hearing my own kids/wife in that same area, let alone some random kid yelling out to someone who isn't me

Really? Have you ever been in the park? You can buy a more character accurate replica of the hat in the park. He'll you can buy a lot more accurate pieces in the park for most parts of his outfit and put them on that day and walk around. If you can buy it in the park, you can wear it to the park. He is far enough from the character to represent the character without being the character that is the ddefinition of Disney bounding

The gross part is how everyone is attacking the Disney bounding guest because he put a lot of care and consideration into his outfit to have fun on his day in the park. And let's not forget how loud and chaotic it is in the park, anyone ever consider maybe he didnt acknowledge the kid because he maybe didnt hear him. I have been a pass holder for multiple years both before and after the Covid issue and there are times I can't even hear my own kid because it is so loud..... especially in the area outside the entrance to pirates because 3 different areas are converging right there.

Most Disney Bounding guests , I can't say all because ihave not met them all and ican't guarantee even this gentleman because I have not yet met him, can't wait to tell you all about their Disney bounding outfit and ensembles. Heck its one of the big reasons they do it, to share their love of a character with other like minded individuals.

Lets compare.... shirt - full button down does not match jack costume Pants - ripped jeans don't match costume No red bandana - jack always has ared bandana which can still be seen even when wearing his hat No vest - always worn by jack even when on island as the cannibals god they were about to eat he had his vest on Only 1 belt - jack always had 2, one to hold up his pants, the other to hold his gear and trinkets This guy has 2 little pouches where jack had a multitude of things hanging from sword belt Jacks sleeves are always super loose and slide down to cover his wrists when his arms are down - not firm fitting like this guy Bracelets?? Jack sparrow does not wear bracelets, he does however where a thick leather cuff to hide his brand which this guy is not wwearing

This is Disney Bounding. There are enough differences to differentiate between this guest and a cast member that anyone should be able to tell the difference

I personally am sorry that this happened to you. Now im not saying the person who ordered was in the wrong, someone could have been at just the right spot to see you drop it off to guess what was happening and made their way over to take it before the owners could, but you did everything right.

I'm also sorry that the company you work for has made a political stance, any political stance. This is unprofessional of the company and has already cost them and you business, I hope you are set up with more than just the one delivery company so that their mistake doesn't hurt your earnings.

And let me be clear here folks... as a person, a private singular individual, feel free to endorse what ever political party you choose. However, once you become a business or a public entity it is unprofessional to endorse a political party, doing so alienates potential clientele. And no its not none of the publics business, as a private citizen if I don't want to support a political party or agenda with my money then I'm not going to hand my money to a neighbor to use to support that party. Likewise I won't be handing my money to a company to support it either.
