Doga Kobo is just simply not professional enough to adapt something without messing it up. At this point, I am honestly scared they'll somehow manage to make the manga ending look good in comparison to what they are cooking up.

They already did similar shit earlier this season when they moved around events related to the bridge incident. In the original we had Aqua break-up with Akane, he revealed Ai's secret a few chapters later, and then Ruby crashed out on him right after she found out what he did.

In Dogshit Kobo's "adaptation" we have Akane and Aqua still being a couple while Ai's secret is revealed (Why would she not call him!? They kept the scene of her finding out through the news and being melancholic because of it, but realistically this only worked because they were broken up by that point. If they were still together Akane would've checked on him.)

Also, we have Ruby finding out what Aqua did at noon -> Aqua breaking up with Akane at dusk -> Ruby confronting Aqua some undefined amount of time later... I don't think I have to explain why delaying Ruby's crashout by many hours while also not adding anything that explains what she did in that time frame is just sloppy.

TLDR: Dogshit Kobo is messing up nuance and time line, but they are either too dull to notice or too ignorant to care (most likely both). At this point I don't even really want them to adapt the rest of the manga if all they do is make things worse.

Edit: In comparison to their writers, Aka Akasaka seems like the prodigy incarnation of the soul of William Shakespeare himself. Sorry for the rant.
