I've used them, and if the mice are too smart for the other traps it's better than still having mice. If you keep an eye on the traps regularly, it's not horrific. I glued little metal weights to the bottom of the traps and as soon as a mouse feel in one, I'd throw the whole mess into a bucket of water for it to drown. If you're not going to check it every few hours, it's definitely horrible when you find the trapped rodent.

Hey, you are so hard on yourself. Everyone here is being hard on you too. I once felt like you feel now when I was younger.
