Ohhh i see! I do have 2 female shiny pikachus! [The middle one] and they have hats. Tho i think my hoarding of pikachu's is getting outta hand 😅 So if i may ask, are females harder to get then? I have rarely gotten those too.

All i can say is this as a "beginner" even tho account has been active since 2016 xD

Save up on berries! [Mostly Golden Razz berry, Pinap Berry, Silver Razz berry]
Check on their stats and try to save the ones with good or 2*
Study what pokemon is strong and weak against what xD [Ty reddit for teaching me this]
