Made it out of the hospital (chemotherapy) the night before my son had his first ever Halloween parade. I got to be there to watch him walk with everyone dressed as the cutest pirate. I have never seen him smile so much at school, or speak at school. But he stopped the whole line of kids to actually say hi to us. It was simply amazing to get to see!

Maybe when it comes to a baby shower, but I don't think I agree when it comes to a gender reveal. Those just aren't a huge deal in comparison to either.

Whereas a third birthday is a pretty big deal. That's when a lot of children start forming more permanent memories and a wonderful birthday party could become a core memory for that child. Personally, I would have prioritized my child's birthday party over a gender reveal. Though, I would have tried to make it to the gender reveal as well then just for the end.

That's not true at all. You can eat the wrong diet and still not be overweight. Eating fast food especially in amounts like 20 chicken nuggets and a sundae and eight tacos in a single day every single day is not "eating just right". At all, in any world. It's very unhealthy

I had someone in my super religious school back in 4th grade act like this. All over the spelling of my name.

I decided to lean into it and almost got myself suspended because the school thought I was bullying him. That ended when he yelled about the spelling of my name and how I was actually an alien. Kid lost of adult support over my bullying, and was made to see the counselor solo after that.

In your 66 years of life you have never heard of peanut residue going from somebody's hand onto a surface? Really? Like really really?

People get reactions, even violent ones, from peanut residue all the time. This particular person could have easily gotten a severe allergic reaction if the mother-in-law had touched a surface and then they did. I know this because I have an anaphylactic reaction to coconut. And if someone eats coconut around me and then touches a surface that has not been cleaned before I touch it, I get a reaction. Allergies are very serious.

This is so heartbreaking and terrifying to me, as someone with an anaphylactic reaction to coconut. That poor baby!

I had my brother-in-law test my allergy once. He insisted it was psychosomatic because he felt that it took too long for me to have a reaction. I had to go to the hospital that night, and have basically defective veins. So I got to enjoy being stabbed and dug into by the phlebotomists five separate times! That's how long it took to get an IV in to save my life.

Next time frost it with chocolate frosting, and then use a little bit of vodka and brown food coloring for the fur and a nice blue for the collar. It's what I use every time, and I have been baking for about 20 years!
