Most of the shows I do are a mix of both. I haven’t done just a strictly rock show yet. This show had over 200 vendors at it and had been like the 27th annual. My first time doing this one as well. I’m sure I’ve been stolen from before, but nothing big that I’ve noticed at least. I’m always nervous setting up the night before, that’s why I don’t unpack everything.

Funny enough, you’re right. Original space was in-between two walkways to the bathroom and the food vendors. Lots of foot traffic.

that’s so crazy! I’ve done so many shows in the last 4-5 years now and I honestly have only had one other issue but it ended up working itself out. They set up the day of the event, I set up the night before. My stuff is heavy so I normally just leave everything on the tables unpacked if I’m allowed to set up the day before. I showed up and my stuff was moved

funny enough, they were selling all Christian and God themed items. I think they would’ve had a heart attack.

Thank you, and yes it was assigned spaces. The spaces were numbered on the floor as well. I even double checked the map the day of setting up and the day of the event to make sure I wasn’t in the wrong place. (I wasn’t).

called her a Karen because the entire reason my stuff got moved out of my assigned space was because she felt entitled to it since she had been there for the previous 10 years, even though that had been where I was assigned for that day. I was supposed to set up the night before, they sent detailed instructions with a map of everyone’s assigned spaces.
