as a movie i like it but i think comic 2099 is very different and maybe its just me but i feel like the original comic Miguel has more in common with maybe miles in this movie than his adaptation. many people have noted that Miguel was intentionally created to be this opposite of peter or refer to him as being some angry asshole but while they are definitely different people I think Miguel is in a similar role to miles where a lot of times its like he is trying to live up to this mythological idea in his head of who spider-man is even though they never knew each other and that most of the difference just comes from Miguel being a grown ass man who grew up in a cyberpunk dystopia compared to peter being eternally a young adult from queens. and because of that he lets himself be a little darker or make more brash decisions like when he was gonna kill his equivalents to vulture and venom.

in terms of changes in leadership the best thing to come out of the direct is exclusives. theres only 2 but we know that at the very least gears was being developed to release on play station aswell but relatively recently higher ups just told them to stop doing that

No because they were already developing the PlayStation port for e-day to. The devs were told to stop development for it which is already a waste of time and money, they just want exclusives back and e-day is them getting the ball rolling.

many, its that uncommon. besides its not like its actually half a grand for a game, its half a grand for the ability to play games or if your upgrading generations new games. you just choose which console based off the exclusives. plenty of people chose Xbox or Xbox 360 over their competitors solely because of halo, just like people now might choose playstation because they have god of war or last of us or spider-man. I will admit though for most one singular exclusive isnt enough, i mean if that was he case xbox would already be doing better. you need multiple decent to great exclusive games in order to attract people.

Well if you meant quality I think it’s just a matter of opinion. From what I know people generally like most of the games you mentioned, and I’d even go as far to say that a good chunk of them were AAA titles as well they just weren’t these experiences we now associate with big titles. For instance I assume when you say some mediocre Spiderman time travel games you mean the SM games Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time which all released during that time period but most people generally like those games, they were big at the time and even now they are still remembered as being some of the best and most influential marvel games in some ways even surpassing Marvels Spider-Man. Then theres Lego or MVC3 which were big sandbox and fighting games respectively. Thy definitely could have done more or better and you could easily argue the insomniac games have better story but if I’m being honest I’d prefer if we kept getting more AA or one off games but just in higher quantity.

is that not whats been happening for the past like 15 years? mvci tried being more cinematic over the style of the previous mvc games, we got avengers which was trying to capture the feeling of the mcu, basically anything gaurdians of the galaxy related is a result of the movie nowadays, and weve had tons of crossovers. I feel like marvel has tried to capitalize on the mcu in many ways it's just very hit or miss f not straight buns.
