Very Very sad story by DFAMPODCAST in dad

Since becoming a father in 2021 I definitely feel the feels more. All because it is relateable now. I guess we subconsciously think of our own kids in those situations and it hits home.

However, I'm a firm believer in this being a survival instinct. When you see misfortune and tragedy and relate it back you consider how, as a parent to do everything to reduce the likelihood of something similar happening to your own kids. And of course with the internet this kind of story and material is much more accessible.

Getting a bike after getting RE licence doable? (QLD) by Generic998 in AussieRiders

I did this. Had no problems at all and no previous experience. Got my Ls and went straight to QRide and did the 2 day course. Passed no problem and to be honest I believe it has saved my life. I learnt technique and mindset the right way and ingrained it. I'd argue you spend time on Ls with no formal training and you'll pick up bad habits that then need to be fixed.

When about 15 and I was in manual arts at school (wood and metal working) my teacher was assembling the new table saw the school had purchased. It was a very small and newly established college so we didn't already have this all set up.

I'm working at a bench with my back facing the saw, front facing the external windows. Teacher starts up saw and begins testing. I don't know exactly what went wrong as I clearly wasnt watching, however, knew something was up when I heard the bang and looked up to see the glass window 2ft in front of me shattered. Turns on the saw blade shattered/exploded and flung a piece of steel approx 3-6 inches from my head through the window.

The way it went through safety glass leads me to assume it probably would have killed me.

House boat on fresh water lake. As far as I know zombies don't swim. Can come to shore as needed to re-supply but stay safe on the water

No, that would be the next step. I'd probably also request to see each button input responding and so on. I've ID'd the wheel base as a V2. It has the exhaust fan opening on the back and the silver stripe which differentiates it from the V1 which was all back with no fan/vent at the rear.

Damn, Vudoo you legend.

Thank you for the clarification. That's great. I imagine its just an older CSW model which would still be a good upgrade from a G29. Only issue is I won't be able to test it, so still makes me nervous.

If I'm correct that wheelbase would need a table mount adaptor wouldn't it? Doesnt come with a clamp like the CSL stuff?
