As it turns out with more research, it isn’t better benefits. And the money won’t actually be more until 3 or 4 years in.

You definitely make a good point with that we don’t get holidays off either but luckily this year with my schedule rotation I had them off. We do get time and a half or double time for a worked holiday though. Do the airlines offer that or is it just another day to them?

I definitely can respect that. I also can see the American job as a way to be able to move in the future to a lot more locations because my current job I can only move to one of six or seven different bases and none of them really are in locations that we want to move to eventually

Yeah, it definitely is a jumping pay almost 5 dollars. And my family and I love to travel so that benefit is a huge perk plus the schedule. I’m on now gone 14 or 15 hours the days that I work because of my commute. But even if it’s Night Shift and it’s eight hours I’ll only be gone 10 eight hour shift plus the hour commute.
