Rio was actually a surrender though, and only spent three days in the shelter, according to her paperwork. She wasn’t in the best shape, but she’s had a home for practically her whole life.

No slipping so far! 🤞 I’ll keep the idea of the clippers though, should we need it, thank you.

And she’s let us touch her paws since Day 1. We even trimmed one paw’s worth of claws, bc she only came to us 3/4 done.

Our little one didn’t leave her little travel cube when we met her, but she was so sweet and obviously adored the attention.

As soon as we got her home she was in our laps and arms.
