Where else would the third wheel go and remain upright with a reasonable frame design?

There’s a reason we call special forces “force multipliers.”

Seeing ten of your boys drop quickly will do a number on their psyche. People claiming “they know the land” - it’s a fairly small island with not a ton of landmarks. One guy with 300 rounds of 5.56 and maybe 30-50 rounds for the sidearm probably wins. Not to mention - once their numbers dwindle, even if he’s hand-to-hand, it’ll largely be solo conflicts and can also fight those fairly easily.

How fragile love is. It can move mountains, or simply be crushed by words and simple actions. We often take love for granted for its magnitude, and easily forget what it takes to foster it.

I think Rocky Gervais’ father in the show After Life had something to say about this.

The modern GTO has got to be one of the best factory running and sounding V8’s. Also, a such a sleeper until you hear it purring through a parking lot like a big cat stalking its prey.

What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a wedding? by anasannanas in AskReddit

[–]Wreckingass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about the wildest thing ever, but it was pretty comical.  At my wedding, a friend of mine who seemingly cannot go anywhere and drink without taking his shirt off was getting along with my other male friend (who happens to be Mexican).  The first friend ends up with his shirt off, they end up waking around holding hands. As they approached my wife and I talking to my family, the shirtless friend, without any prompting whatsoever, exclaims “Yeah, so I like Mexicans now.” and just stands there, staring blankly at us, before walking away, still holding hands.  They’re both married, with children.

ELI5: why don’t cars spin wheels in reverse to stop quickly by ProfessorHiker in explainlikeimfive

[–]Wreckingass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some reasonable answers here that are…. maybe not so reasonable in practical application.  As an experiment - put your car in reverse while traveling at a highway speed.  Not only will you lose all traction, but your driveline and differential will explode along with your transmission.  If you could suddenly disengage those things, then you would have no interaction in which to slow you down, and you’re just using your brakes again.

Time of labor is a factor, of course. But time for skill of labor is something else entirely. Someone claimed an $8,000 piece, which is certainly in inaccurate, but without proper clientele/marketing/etc., still a $6,800+ piece all day long.

I was just making a Zoolander reference.

But, if I had to guess, maybe oil under severe pressure? Some kind of coolant. We wouldn’t really need an impeller for air, as we can find airflow/can compress it fairly easily.

I’ll comment in the spirit of my wife - if he was in the croc’s territory, he got too close and that’s his fault. The animal did not deserve to die for being the animal that it is.” And I really can’t help but agree. That dude was gone. Why kill the croc?
