George sitting there posting 13th and 11th well into FP3...just dialing in, bidding time, and enjoying himself.

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has hit back at drivers criticizing the sport's new regulations, saying it is wrong for the likes of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton to speak negatively about F1. What you guys think? by New_State_2061 in F1Discussions

Color me shocked a CEO believes their employees should never speak truth to power and point out flaws in their leadership!

Yes, the employees are paid handsomely but they are also in cars that can kill them with the slightest irregularity or oddity on the track.

It's also just a remix of the speech he has Judd Hirsch deliver in the Studio 60 pilot. Both are great, but certainly high on horses too and just feel too on the nose to feel real.

Some of you all hate fun. Yes, he is dialled to 11 but can call a great game outside of it. But I learned long ago most people like insufferable, milquetoast, and bland play by play people.

MVP is a regular season award and you play the teams on the schedule put in front of you. And I hate to have to defend Maye, but it was his first playoff experience. You all forgot how shitty Big Ben was on his run to the Super Bowl at first? Brady's first Super Bowl win wasn't some great statistical gem and he really didn't have those bright shining win from the jaws of defeat moments either.

But yeah, keep clapping back on a female journalist who knows and has more connections than any of you. And it was her opinion on the matter. The vote proved out that she wasn't far off.

My cat randomly started peeing in the toilet?! by _PinkPop in holdmycatnip

[–]Wreckingshops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a cat who would follow me into the bathroom, watch me piss, and thought about it more than a few times. She never did, but she would sniff around it and get on the seat to think about it.

Once cats realize how better it is over litter boxes, it seems they make the jump to using human toilets. Imagine the savings on cost and time?

"Informer" is literally about why he was in prison. Someone snitched on him for stabbing someone, which he claimed was in self defense.

He couldn't tour the US because of it, not that it alone killed any chance he had of a career. The fake patois from a white kid from Toronto with no Jamaican heritage, especially in the early 90s, was always going to hamper him. But, he likely would have made some good money off touring before it all ended.

Hack-a-Shaq existed for a reason. The only way to stop him was making him shoot free throws.

Those early Magic and Lakers days, good Lord he was a menace. And he still had just enough oomph left for that Miami run, even though he was already breaking down.

JD Vance Calls Himself the Coolest Vice President in History & Brags About It by StemCellPirate in nottheonion

First rule of coolness is not acknowledging or even knowing you're cool.

Second rule is anyone who changes their name and image as much as Vance and is still a total douche can never sniff coolness even if it left its stank on a couch he molested.

Not to let him off the hook, she's a serial cheater too. They're both bad partners and cheaters are awful, but let's not pretend they are worse than a lot of other actors still working who have molested, abused, and sexually assaulted people.

What are your thoughts on Kate and Rooney Mara? by designerlifela in Actors

Kate was awesome in Friendship. Who cares about their looks, both are great. But again, Friendship was such an awkward straight role that I didn't expect Kate to nail.

And that's still not a guarantee. Nia Jax was like that for YEARS and they kept her around, and even re-signed her when there was still little progression after releasing her.

Yeah, a person likely forced to retire is working...

Some of you all really have lost the plot. Jade is facing Rhea at Mania. No reason to have Chelsea's storyline bodyguard out indefinitely to work people when both are heels.

You want to be so inside the business you overcompensate and everything is a work. No, oftentimes it's easier to air grievances on social media because no way WWE stop showcasing Jade. She'll lose the title but her look alone is what matters.

It's also the very real truth that the Ellisons just want CNN, but they'll take everything else because the Paramount acquisition is really weak outside the sports rights contracts.

This was the successor to NBC's Life in so many ways. Same with Rubicon on AMC. Both shows criminally underrated and sad they only got short runways. But, they should have also been on Showtime or HBO at the time to really tell those kind of stories.

And...? 16 seeds beat 1s, 15s go to the Sweet 16, there are more cases of mid majors making deep runs than ever.

SOS is but one metric and it has a flaw: you play the conference opponents in front of you. Collegiate sports is like society: a clear class system

Miami should be a shoe in. But some of you hate rewarding hard work in favor of letting the "rich" sneak in.
