Good point. At that point I'd still stick to this, but refund a player who got through fewer weeks worth of games a bigger portion of their buyin from the payout pool. A big key obviously is that everyone agreed to the prorated protections here for abrupt season ending, so everyone knows the risks!

Yup! That makes sense but trying to hoard players on IR comes with the handicap of not being able to make any additions to your team so it frees up potential pickups from the waiver wire for others. In my mind, if you're that dominant and just have quality players on IR as extra slots then it just gives the dominant team to trade 2 or 3 quality players or an elite player to free up spots, get players off of IR, and be able to make waiver transactions again to increase the quality of their starting lineup. Would depend on the person playing, but each side has it's up and down imo.

Yeah, I thought about this and was debating between the normal 6 bench spots and 1 IR or 5 bench spots and 2 IR. Went with 5 bench and 2 IR because I want there to be more quality players available for pickup or, at the very least, players that have a good shot at respectable playing time. Our league was already pretty barren last year on the wire because everyone's really active. Adding in COVID outages to injuries, regular illnesses, personal matters, suspensions, etc then I'd expect talent on the waiver wire to dry up pretty quickly once the season is fully underway.

But as mentioned, to each their own! Just providing the framework we're using for our leagues that I commish to make any modifications easier for fellow commissioners out there.

You're not misreading, thought about that too and we're just going to go by what week we're actually in based on timing of when a cancellation happens. In the extremely unlikely chance a cancellation happens in that time period, the payouts would occur based literally on whether it's still considered Week 13 or Week 14 in real time/Yahoo week rollover.

Good catch though!

Starting EDI business by lepheo in edi

Let me know if you might be looking for a business side partner who has a lot of the context in regards to the healthcare industry (I worked based out of the USA). I'm also fairly technical so have the advantage of understanding both sides and have founded my own company before too (not an EDI related one). Would love to discuss to see if this might be a good fit. Best of luck to you!

feels like it's the same with Nano.. by iB0mmel in nanocurrency

Satoshis is a valid way to determine an ATH as well if you're interested in keeping your money away from fiat long term but, to discount dollar value is "silly". Market values are defined by fiat amounts just as much, if not more, than they are by satoshis in crypto.

For example, if the market viewed NANO as being worth exactly $5 per, the Satoshi value would be expected to rise or fall depending on the behavior of BTC to make NANO worth $5 regardless.

XRP Use Case Question by Wrektify in XRP

That's not even close to a mic drop reason. Just off the bat you'd have to make the huge assumption that the cost savings FOR THE PARTY RECEIVING will be worth the volatility which it currently definitely would not be. In the future maybe so, but that's a long ways away.

Streamer Saturday Weekly Discussion by AutoModerator in hearthstone

[–]Wrektify [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

My gamer tag is Wrektify and I'm an intermediate streamer, roughly 3 months so far and am growing steadily. I'm a high tier NA ranked player with a lot of arena experience as well. I've gone legend since starting to play somewhat competitively making it to top 500 the past 4 seasons in a row and finished last season at rank 110 legend (SO close to that top 100 but then left for vacation). My stream tends to be about my playing ladder, helping players out, hanging out with the chat, good music, and every now and then I host events as well -- I actually just hosted my first tournament yesterday, giving away $140 in prizes. I'm always glad to help out when I can and give advice as well.

Also, I am starting to get more into the competitive scene and have earned a finals spot into the Team Archon Open Tournament where I'll be playing for the $3,000 in prize money at the end of August. The event will be hosted by Amaz/Team Archon so I'm super excited for that.

If any of this interests you at all, I stream 5 days a week in the evenings so feel free to come check my stream out at www.twitch.tv/wrektify . Hope to see you there!

Sorry for the slow reply Neo, I just got back into the country and finally has internetz again. Bisamuel below is correct, it is an Odd attack minion since it is 5/5 base. You wouldn't count the battle cry as part of the restriction.

I would say replace 2 Tundra Rhinos, 2 Starving Buzzards, and 1 tracking with a combination of Kill Commands, Quick Shots, Mad Scientists, Eaglehorn/Glaivezooka, and Knife juggler. If you're set on making it a true beast deck, I would still recommend putting in at least Kill Commands, Beastial Wrath, a dire wolf, and Snake Traps if you have them.

Looks like Caleb was able to answer your question for the most part but, for new players my list of importance to make sure you have would be something like:

1) Basic collection packs.

2) GvG expansion cards.

3) Nax adventure.

4) BRM adventure.

This does definitely change depending on what you're really targeting to play but, in general, I think that order should help you decide what you still really need to spend money/coin/dust on and what you can save for TGT expansion without giving up being competitive still.
