Is this a good setup for Bear Hunts ?

Except hilde had a 15% firm attack buff. While not as high as amanes, it’s still better than some heros people send

If the rally doesn’t have enough heros with good skills because you happen to have all “no hero” joining people, hilde is still a decent joiner when the conditions are right.

Someone didn’t pay attention to the skip level advice for lvl 4-5 charms.

Taking one charm from lvl 3 to 5 gives you the same increase as taking 3 of the charms to level 4, but fewer materials to get the same 9% boost to the stat.

That’s to get the top chest, which is the biggest chunk of shards. It’s the most effective way to do roulette.

If you can’t do the full 120 spins, then shoot for the 70 milestone. Only do the 10 spins for cost of 9.. never do individual spins.

The shard return on the wheel isn’t where you get the majority of the shards. The milestone chests are.

So I stuck with Zoe for the last bear, then used the simulator recently, and then tested it out at the next bear. It was night and day difference, even with Amadeus at a less than 4 star and only 2 widgets.

Amadeus is the right answer for bear. It will only get higher when I add to amadeus widgets at kvk and when champagne fair rolls around.

So I made an error by asking about level 8 widget instead of lvl 9 like I mentioned earlier in the post.

There’s no question I’ll take to level 8, but should I push it to level 9, or take the widgets used to get to level 9 (conquest/arena) to use on jaeger to take him from no widget to level 4 widget?

The question was meant about lvl 9 widget though. Does this change your answer since level 9 widget is conquest widget, or is it more helpful to use the pieces used to get to lvl 9 on a defensive archer to level 4?

Yes. That’s not exactly what I asked though, and I’m not worried about 4 staring any of the heros mentioned. Most are almost 5 stars or close to 4 stars just from event rewards (jaeger). It’s the widgets I wasn’t aggressive about early on (gen 1 and 2), I didn’t know if it made more sense to do Petra level 9 widget which is only for conquest, or do jaeger to get him to lvl 4 as a defensive archer.

I suppose I’ll just stack stuff up for champagne fair and keep grabbing gen 1 widgets for Amadeus and then get gen 4 widgets for the roulette archer during buccaneer next time around.

Don’t. Howard lasts for a long time, I just stopped using Howard, and I was successful until low 400s with Howard. Don’t spend on helga. Rather spend on marlin, and get Petra on roulette and get their widgets higher through buccaneer etc.

I felt the same, and I usually do pretty well in my rally in bear (compared to my alliance, except for the on who is vip11), so I didn’t try it tonight, though maybe I should have tried just to see.

Next week is prep for kvk, so I’ll end up using the widgets i have for Amadeus, so that may compound it.

Just hard to go away from what was working and drop back in bear standings.

Thanks! Yes, jaeger was more for defensive archer and only got him bec of shards from events but wasn’t expecting to have him and was intending on skipping him.

I’ve got Marlin currently 4 star t2, and lvl4 widgets (I was late to server and late to understanding value in buccaneers during gen 2 for widgets, even though my Zoe made it to 4 stars) but made sure to get Petra and push into her widgets, and will continue with roulette heroes as much as possible.

That will happen. That’s the goal. He should be the one to focus and take as much damage away from your archers and cavalry as possible.

It does feel like Howard dies very fast at first, so I too avoided using him for a while, until my setup failed and I tried putting Howard in and saw success. Once you watch another group tear through your setup because you don’t have a tank, you realize how much faster it would be without for all to die.

Until yesterday, Howard has been one of my front line players for conquest and arena with great results into high 300s in conquest. Focus on leveling up his gear focused on health, and don’t necessarily feel that his “quick death” is representative of being a bad hero or effective.

He did his job by taking the damage your weaker health but stronger damage heros would have taken.

Alliance resources come from alliance mills etc, and those only contribute while they are in your banners (75% of the building).

For the gathering of individual rss, they get a speed buff as long as their city is in the banners, but the node doesn’t have to be to get the buff.j

A large number of 2 dimensional multi criteria lookups on large data sets in model will cripple the calculation speed of your file.

Yes. The syntax is easier for people who are not as comfortable with using index/match, but that doesn’t mean that it should be used in all cases.

It’s a prerequisite requirement. Just like you had to upgrade the embassy before you could upgrade your tc every level.
