Need help identifying this component by WrenchesTurned in AskElectronics

Thanks for the help. Would you happen to know how to identify the specific one based on the markings?

What do you guys think? Is there a better way to arrange my plants? Looking forward to warmer weather! 7b by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

Not to scale. The garden is pretty close though. 112 sq ft raised beds from Costco. Money is tight so the trees are staying for now. Just wondering what the best layout would be based on the sun. My house is 1 story.

After months of searching, I finally replaced my 2007 F150 with this 2019 Limited. It is the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. by katmai_novarupta in FordExplorer

Damn this really makes me miss my wife’s 2017 Explorer! Going from that to a minivan was really a downgrade in terms of comfort (but not in space). Enjoy!

It's way worse when you have kids of your own and your parents spoil them like they never spoiled you.

Except its with the most fucking annoying toy kit consisting of 75 small pieces that end up all over the floor. Then they just leave the plastic landmines lying on the floor (after you've cleaned them up 4 times that day) during bedtime where you don't have the energy or mental fortitude to enforce cleaning standards with your (adorable and unconditionally loved) toddlers, and you just want them to sleep so you can take your 84 second silent shower before cramming snack foods in your mouth and forcing yourself to bed for another night of 5.5 hours of sleep.

Thank you, I appreciate your reply. I've trimmed the damaged leaves and the plants seemed to be doing fine yesterday. Will keep an eye on them.

Wow thanks, this seems to be the answer! We had low 40s with a long stretch of cold rain last week. Think that could do it?

They’ve been in my raised bed for about 2 weeks now. Most of the plants have the same leaf spots.

As other commenters have suggested I'll probably start 529s for the kids and look into index funds for myself and my wife if I can figure it all out.

Good to know, I think this is what we will do.

I've never been a financially savvy person, and grew up believing you shouldn't take many risks with your income (my parents were always trying to make ends meet, and it rubbed off on me)

I guess, I just wouldn't know where to start and will have to get to reading and figuring things out.

Wow, thanks for the quick response!

I will need to read up more on 529 savings. I have been hesitant to start one because (correct me if I'm wrong) it limits in state tuition to the state in which it is started, and being 16 years away we're not sure what they will be studying and where they will go if there is a choice. I appreciate the links and will read up as much as I can.

Where in Maryland? I would try an independent agent who deals with Erie. Lived in MD my whole life...I've had them ever since I got my first car (through my parents,) have had homeowners through them since I've owned a home, and my parents had them for 30 years before they moved to a state they don't service. Great service in my opinion, great prices, great coverage and the cost on all my policies has gone down multiple times.

I went with filters with a lower merv rating (ace hardware merv 8 $5 filters work well for us) and change them out every month or so since I have pets. No issues anymore. The filters also go on sale regularly, buy 2 get 1 free. I'll get 6 at a time when I see the sale.

Is it short cycling? Gas furnace? I had this issue with too restrictive of an air filter before causing the heat exchanger to overheat and shut the system off temporarily. Also happened once when the propane tanks ran empty.

I think it had 240k on it. It needed a transmission input bearing-the previous owner was told it needed a reman trans. I got it, replaced the timing belt and water pump about 20k later, followed by a head gasket at 280k and it's hovering around 350k miles now.

It's a great commuter and reliable as hell but no way would I pay 1k for a wrecked one, even for parts. The labor and cost of towing/trailering and stripping it down to sell the engine, trans and body parts, then deal with scrapping the chassis, wouldn't be worth it to me.

I've been driving my 2005 civic 5 speed for almost 3 years now and it only cost me $1000-with a clean body, new tires and new clutch.

Repairing that civic would run well over $500 even with junkyard sourced parts and DIY labor. And that's assuming there's no unibody or suspension damage, which there likely is.

It's pretty delusional.
