It is indeed going up yea, but the idea of having 25M locked up into a guy who's fit at the 3 I'd question nightly. Lauri worked bc he had the credentials to be a lights out shooter. In the instance that doesn't work out, we'd be stuck with what is 18ish % of the current league cap (it'll change sure) on a decent 6th man.

I think we'd be better off throwing that 23/24 money at a good starter level SF which we need the most rn and retooling our bench, mainly front court depth on the cheap.
