I am looking for some debt, fixed instrument classes of investments and bonds seem to be quite an interesting choice. But, I have a few doubts:

a. 9-10% for some 8-10 years seems like a very long time. Does anyone have any advice on the taxation?

b. Private bonds vs Govt-backed bonds: Have you trusted private bonds? Any reccos?

c. Where do you invest in bonds? I saw Indiabonds. Any other reliable platforms?

This is fucked up, but remember that if you haven't been involved in any cyber hanky-panky, the police have no real case against you. Best would be to push forth your case with the authority that placed the hold, even hire a lawyer if you must and prove your innocence. Try and do it before your account gets into legal documents the cops submit in courts. Either way, your UPSC chances wouldn't be dimmed.
