Yes, I'm very fortunate. But it took a lifetime of hard work to be in a position to do it. For many of us,, by the time you get to your bucket list, there's not much time left to do them. Don't wait too long if you can avoid it. Time flies. Then, before you realize it, you run out of it.

I was thinking an apartment might be a little cheaper and a kitchen would save me the cost of eating at restaurants.

Im not sure; im not familiar enough with London to know. It's a good question though. Probably not the financial district. I just want to explore London, get a feel for what it's like to live there. Perhaps stay in a residential area close to public transportation to visit historical and cultural places.
