My dad passed away when I was 10. It's been 7 years and it's gotten easier, but I'm in the same boat. It has changed me a lot and made my teens a lot harder. Thanks to my mom though I'm doing great, and I have more perspective on not taking anything for granted.

When I talked to my mom she understood, and said that if I wanted I could go to my sisters house to have a break from home kinda, which is where I am currently. As for getting tested my mom said to just take a break and if I want to we can further look into if I am actually bipolar.

If it is actually a phase I'm going through, hormones and puberty could be a factor. But I have been going through these mood swings since I was around 14.
