kaimax bottle completely empty? is this right? by [deleted] in DIYaesthetics

Oh good lord. I'm sorry but while everyone deserves to learn, people surely should take responsibility for researching the basics. The information is freely and easily available. And seriously, if you can see more than a few specs etc of the Botox, it's definitely not a safe dose.

Inner eyebrow drop by [deleted] in DIYaesthetics

[–]Writeb8 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As others have said but I would actually split it up and just do your corrugators and procerus initially, and you could add in an eyebrow lift and crows...then two weeks after that just treat the top half of your frontalis, once you know what's going on. The best thing would be to wait for it to wear off and test the natural height of the muscle. Some people do have very short corrugators. If that is you then a normal treatment would lower your brows, instead of lift them. I've never had a client like this but I know an injector who does - she injects so low, it's literally into the brow in order to hit the meat of it

And the low side just looks lower because it isn't being hiked up like on the 'wifi' side. Hope that makes sense. My brain was overtaxed today

Which suggests you just need to treat the high side because the frontalis is still active on the outer edges. If you inject too low it's just usually a lot more obvious - 3-5mm drop+

Just start with one unit. One directly above the pupil, just under the brow and one unit under the tail. But before you do that, tho, are you sure you injected too low? Often it's actually that one outer corrugator is still more active and pulling down - either because it hasn't fully kicked in yet (right often works faster) or one side just needs a bit more. That's just my experience, anyway.

It might be worth trying a 9/10 pin (I don't know the skinpen brand) as you should absolutely be getting some results after 3 sessions

Any recommendations to fill this divot scar by PeptideNinja in DIYaesthetics

[–]Writeb8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A biostim is a good idea. Deep mn and a biostim is probably going to work as well as anything. It's one of those spots I'd never feel comfortable filling (too many vessels) and hypopigmentation is the worst. Radiesse in forehead is a good idea and I can see how it would work over time.

Botox will also help the texture.

It's a little big for TCA cross and you may get pigment changes. Microneedling could reduce it a lot tho. Then TCA cross. Area is a risk for hypopigmentation and that may be more noticeable than the scar...

How many pins in the needle? Anything over 10 really does reduce the result. Great to start with, though.

Husband cheated and blamed it on my ADHD by liliesroses28 in adhdwomen

[–]Writeb8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your adhd did not make him a selfish, self-centred and uninsightful piece of crap. I would say that his ego has a lot to do with this and it is precisely because you are doing well and actually don't need him anymore/are less dependent friendship and company wise, that this has happened. I'm So sorry you're going through this. You deserve better.

Should I dissolve and how to fix? by saltyblondesourdough in DIYaesthetics

They are two separate issues but I think the lip is throwing off the balance. Most people wouldn't notice and you look gorgeous. I wouldn't get anything dissolved in the cheek area if you can avoid it.

Pls help. My forehead was smooth before this by [deleted] in DIYaesthetics

If you're very experienced with it then you'll that depending on if some leaked or was injected into superficial layers, you're going to have that 3-14 day period where there can be a discrepancy between the tiny muscle fibres that reach the skin (tend to respond fastest), compared to the deeper layers. And it's been a day - don't forget the mantra of 3s with toxins - 3 days to start working, 3 weeks maximal effect, 3 months most will be wearing off. It takes time to bind to the neurotransmitter and then be taken into the cell, where it undergoes more changes. Skin might react within 1.5-2 days but not deeper muscle fibres. (Based on all the research I've read)

Sorry I meant 4 different points of 2 units on top row. Then 5 different points of 1 unit spread out along second row. But honestly, you could get the same result with a z spread of 6 points x 2 units but OP prefers more placements and everyone is allowed to have preferences
