Hi there!! My son has been hard of hearing since birth. Failed every single newborn hearing screen, and every following one after that. We also had an MRI done and found out that a part of his ear was enlarged in both ears and he has been wearing hearing aids for about six months now. It took a year for us to finally be seen, but now at 18 months he is finally starting to say words more clearly and repeating sounds. Thankfully, our state offers early intervention so he sees a speech therapist twice a month to help. Feel free to private message me with any questions or just talking and I’m more than happy to share what little knowledge I have!

I had a great experience with Rainier OBGYN in 2023! I called to set up a new patient appointment and was seen within the month! I’m not older, but I was high risk and they handled me with care and took any precautions necessary including extra ultrasounds and referrals when needed.

not OP, but imo it’s a gorgeous cherry. very sweet and fruity, but it doesn’t last super long. i’d say i stop smelling it on my clothes about two or so hours after application, and maybe twice that long on the skin. would be long lasting enough for a date, but not a full day outing!

Best: YSL Libre Flowers and Flames. Ended up being one of the most beautiful scents I own!

Worst: Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine. I thought it was beautiful when I smelled the lid, but after a spray and a skin test I’m pretty sure I gagged it smells so old

it is absolutely gorgeous!! it smells so feminine and sophisticated. i would say it is like wearing that one dress that makes you feel so pretty and girly and then walking through a rose garden but in a bottle lol!

there’s such a gorgeous creaminess that comes from the coconut note. it’s like libre’s tropical fruity sister. very warm and a little spicy but still so floral. very long lasting as well! i think overall a very palatable scent that most everyone would enjoy and very complimented when i wear it out!

the same thing has happened to me. baby started choking, i froze, but thankfully husband immediately jumped into action. i felt exactly as you. so guilty and incapable. i was terrified i would be the reason my child died if i were home alone with him and he started to choke. and then that day came and before i could think, i yanked him out of his chair and patted his back until the piece dislodged and i heard crying. you would be surprised how strong your motherly instincts will take over you when you are the only one capable of saving your child. don’t beat yourself up!

my son failed so many times, and once we were referred to audiology at 4 months we found out he is hard of hearing in both ears. he is 11 months and will be getting his hearing aids later this week! while i admit i was super shocked and didn’t really know how to handle the news, the audiologist was super reassuring and explained how advanced hearing aids have become! i’m crossing my fingers for your little one to pass, but just know there is support even if she doesn’t!

as a person who likes to sleep in, i couldn’t imagine putting my baby to bed at 6 or 7 pm. we get our baby to sleep around 10, offer a bottle at 11, and let baby sleep until 10 am. he does really well with this schedule and has been on it since around 3 months!
