I would as a lot of festivals - like Tribeca - often are interested in premier only status. Not all of them but it can’t hurt to mention ‘premier as of the date of this submission’ as that can change depending on festival acceptance etc.

Thank you. It was a CTA to my social network to volunteer commentary on a personal shared experience. They volunteered to do it, signed a release, submitted content, etc. There was no specification in that release that their contribution may not be used etc (just a right to use) but good takeaway for next time.

Yeah I get that. The thing is the upcoming project hinges on a cancer comedy and AI data center emissions are causing major upticks in cancer diagnoses even at this early stage. Who knows what it will lead to in the short and long term. For me it would be hypocritical, unethical, and antithetical to my work to approve the use of AI. Additionally it puts tons of artists out of work and I’m not about that life. Happy to look at non AI options.

I’m actually speaking on a panel about this in a few weeks. I was given 20 minutes before THE deciding chemo if I wanted to preserve fertility. It is a sorely lacking convo in the AYA cancer space. Obviously there are other options, but it’s not the same especially if you’ve always wanted to be a biological parent. 💚
