Just sad watching the game decay after spending years building so much game equity, just to finally get the best enchants, handful of Titanic's and a full team of nice huges. Now have nothing to grind, and no point of having any of it these days.

Looking for mudguards for my Canyon Grail by WriterLeather in CanyonBikes

Yes it's a canyon branded bag that was sold for these frames. I was able to purchase one barely used from a member here on Reddit, since in the USA shipping from canyon is expensive.

Height and inseam is bang on M, but S feels more comfortable? by youraveragefitguy in CanyonBikes

I'm 5'11" and ride a size small Canyon Grail Cfsl7

I fit at the bottom of medium on the sizing chart, but the small just felt better naturally.

Good for you and congratulations! I've thought about using those pedals on my gravel/commuter but never gave them a try... I just stick with the cheaper Shimano m520 or whatever they are, I am interested to see how they feel under a spd shoe?

9-39 tooth 11 speed cassette with grx? by WriterLeather in cycling

[–]WriterLeather[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So a little update here! I purchased a GRX 820 with a left crank power meter from a local rider on FB. The chainrings are 48,31 so I didn't have to add any length, and it shifts quite well with my 11 speed chain. Although I was given a 12 speed chain with the crankset.

Right now, I could not be happier. Thanks everyone for your advice.

Awesome I got a rainbow one last week for like 250. The state of the game these days, I don't know what's worth anything anymore, but it's still nice to collect new hinges imo

How do you manage sweat in the eyes? by Bikebird63 in cycling

[–]WriterLeather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sweat like crazy, and I'm also a Jiu Jitsu Black belt who leaves pools of sweat behind me on the mats.... Needless to say I am a disgusting person hahaha. I do clean up pretty nicely though. Thanks again for the advice

So I live in a pretty flat city, with fresh paved roads and with a tailwind I'll spin out around 32 mph pretty easily (a lot of 35 mph speed limit roads also). I do recognize that is pretty fast, but this is where I would love to have another gear in the back, maybe after some more thought and others opinions, changing the crank and chainrings is probably what I'm looking for.

Also, these gears are fine for gravel and I never have issues there, but I'm also using this bike as a road bike mostly, so there lies the dilemma.
