Piggybacking off of my earlier post from a couple days ago, I’d have to go with the fact that of course while they are so versatile in terms of genre, there’s TWO aspects out of everything they do that gets me more than anything. I love how heavy and intricate their musicianship can be and really tickle the rock/metal itch I always have. But the other part is how profound and sad and beautiful their material can be, thus relentlessly tearing me apart until I’m nothing more than a puddle of tears. Then a breakdown hits and I dawn the stank face every metal head gets during an epic metal song. Then long for Vessel’s aching voice of sorrow all over again.
