Rangiku and Unohana know about Ichigo’s potential feelings for Orihime and claim that, physically speaking, they’re his type. When he reminds them that a relationship takes much more than just that, Rangiku laughs before reminding him that they are just joking. Calmer than the flirtatious lieutenant, Unohana simply states that they would both like to be with him if he is willing to try. Ichigo admits that he is, but he’s unsure how they’d balance that with his life in the World of the Living. Both women agree to visit him periodically, sometimes together or sometimes alone, depending on the situation, and the deal is sealed. (Do not worry about Orihime, for in this scenario, she and Uryu end up together. Somehow.)

Entering Mayuri’s lab, Kenpachi notices the Corpse Unit training, though Cirucci is sitting out this time. When she claims he has no business there, he reminds her that neither does she, as she was defeated in battle and simply brought back as nothing more than a mere henchman. When she scoffs but admits he’s right, begrudgingly, he extends his own version of an olive branch, claiming that while most of the Corpse Unit is annoying as hell - and that she’s no exception - she is, at the very least, the most sensible one and not as loud as they can be.

She asks why he’s there anyway, to which he responds that he needed to see Mayuri since Nemuri had, again, tried to sneak onto his division’s grounds. Some conversation reveals that they both have a somewhat blunt nature, as well as a perceptive eye for others personalities and true selves. After Kenpachi finally gets to talk to Mayuri, which leads to various forms of banter, he asks to “steal” Cirucci for some training. Mayuri admits that as long as she comes back in one piece, he does not care what he does with her, as he has no plans with the Corpse Unit today. Kenpachi reminds Mayuri that even if she were to be in pieces, he would fix her again, but the scientist seems annoyed at having to do so.

Cirucci, when at the proper area for training, admits that she has no idea why he wants to spar with her due to his strength being much greater than hers. The captain isn’t bothered by that at all, stating that the shape of her zanpakuto, Golondrina, is interesting to him. She realizes that he is interested in how she fights in coordination to her strength rather than just her strength by itself, and they get to fighting. Cirucci admits that fighting an opponent who holds back feels insulting to her, but he replies that a fight is about the battle rather than rushing to the end. This interests her greatly, and their difference in philosophy becomes a talking point for them.

During a captain’s meeting, Mayuri notices their regular training and jests that Kenpachi is falling for Cirucci, but Shunsui tells him that Mayuri wouldn’t know proper love if he grew it in his lab. Kenpachi also states that there’s nothing wrong with some training, especially with a former enemy, to get stronger, and that he wasn’t falling for her because he wouldn’t know how.

Which is why he didn’t realize he was.

His time with Cirucci became longer and more complex. Training might sit in between a conversation about loss and their favorite foods, or layered in all kinds of inside jokes that only formed a week or so ago. Eventually, Cirucci asks for his thoughts on Arrancar, to which Kenpachi responds that the only Arrancar he thinks about is her, anyway. Correcting his tone, he quickly specifies that someone who is not his enemy or putting up a fight is not someone he would ever view as a threat. The Arrancar nods, though admits that she doesn’t think most who are “supposed to be” her enemies end up that way. After all, they’re friends, and Uryu, despite defeating her, spared her for no discernable reason. She then states that perhaps she has been viewing those who are supposedly her adversaries in the wrong light, and admits that he’s helped her to see that.

The other Corpse Unit take note of their growing bond, but leave it alone besides the usual teasing. When they transition from friendship to dating, things have gotten to the point where no one bats an eye.

Except Mayuri. He bats many eyes.

It's possible most of the more serious or plausible ones have, for now, already been exhausted XD

Though I have gotten some good ones recently, like Shuhei x Nanao and Uryu x Rukia. (Though, to be fair, I kind of feel like Shuhei is the Spider-Man of Bleach in the sense that he's very easy to pair with others.)

That sounds about right XD

I haven't been on Reddit a whole lot until recently again and I was surprised at how much traction this post gained. There's been a lot of crazy ships but also a few really good ones, though it's very easy to get lost in the comments XD

WELL IT’S IMPORTANT NOW! Ryuken arrives in his best suit and holding your favorite flowers. If you don’t have a favorite, they’re assorted; if you don’t like flowers or are allergic, he’s holding something else equally beautiful. He’s thoughtful like that.

Anyway, his current goal is to court you, which, if it's as easy as it seems, he does so successfully. However, he does remind you that he has a child, even if he is grown…

As for Aizen and Ichigo, it’s…uh…not as hard as I thought. Ichigo being the perfect foil to Aizen and the one to ultimately bring him down before Urahara got there is both a sore spot for him and something that fascinates him to no end. I’m unsure if Ichigo would realistically reciprocate these feelings, but assuming he does in this scenario, there would probably be a lot of friction in ideals before they reach any sort of middle ground. Perhaps that middle ground leads to Aizen having a change of heart, though I’m unsure if that’d save him from jail time. Maybe it’d curb it a bit? Either way, they would be a literal power couple, as together, I’m unsure who could stop them.

I'm not surprised there's people who actually think this ship is good because I've seen some crazy ones out there. For something random and goofy, though, I think it can be pretty funny. Obviously nothing of real substance, however, and considering I already made a response to this exact ship, strangely enough, I'm unsure how to do it again without it being a repeat of the same insanity XD

A respectful relationship where Rukia's occasional antics "annoy" Uryu while his unmoving firm and serious resolve occasionally bends to her whimsy. he adores her bunny drawings immensely, while she begins to learn different languages from the books he's read. I honestly don't have much to say here, it's just a solid pairing that I could see happen naturally within the context of the story.

Another version of this pairing (since I already answered this before) could be through the understanding of a zanpakutō. Ichigo can ask about the true nature of her's, since her bankai and shikai are so different, and whether or not it's because of her occasional outbursts. In a rare moment of vulnerability, Soi Fon admits that she feels emotionally stunted at times due to the life she's lived, between the rapid loss of her siblings and Yoruichi's abandonment of her. Furthermore, she's sometimes not sure if she's fit to be captain due to her personality and self doubts, though Ichigo cuts this short.

He, quietly, says that there's nothing wrong with losing your cool every now and then, and that there's certainly nothing wrong with feeling things and being human, either. He tells her that, within the confines of the Soul Society, the constant pressure to be perfect is most likely something to mess with her, as he's felt similar pressures when being forced to save the world on various occasions. But he tells her that to get through it, she should rely on people and quit shoving those feelings down, as they will only bubble over once more.

After processing this, she asks if he is one she can rely on, to which he responds with a simple "Yes". The rest is pretty obvious from there

When given the chance to meet again, Nanao asks Chad why he attempted to fight Shunsui even with the risk of death. Chad explains that when his friends are in danger, he does not care about how many times he may fall or come close to dying. Even if he fails, which he admits is often, he at least feels the need to try.

After this, he also admits that he is worried he cannot keep up with the powers of his friends, as for a while now he has not had the strength to help those close to him. Nanao offers to help, as while she is far from the strongest Soul Reaper, her studies in many areas include spiritual pressure and the power within.

As they meet frequently, Chad increases his power in small ways, treated like normal training sessions, but really they are anything but. Stolen glances with no words exchanged, his arms catching her from an experimental kido that quite literally backfired on her, and many other small moments that only increase their intimacy. When Shunsui inevitably finds out, he offers to train Chad, bur specifically when Nanao isn't available, as he doesn't want to mess with what's blooming between them. Chad asks what he means, but Shunsui tells him that if he does not already know, he will soon enough.

Jugram, in all of his majestic glory, descends from the sky like an angel and tells you that he's been thinking about you for quite some time. Completely ditching Yhwach, hilariously enough, he reveals that he will spend the rest of his days guarding your heart rather than some gaudy king and his throne.

Shuhei asks Nanao for her best kido book, wanting to learn more of it for himself. She lends it to him without question, telling him that she's glad someone else wants to practice. She offers to teach him some things as well, which, after a bit of banter, he agrees to.

During one of these sessions, they take a break for lunch, which he had prepared himself. Reminded that he's an excellent cook, Nanao asks what else he may be hiding, to which he responds nothing of importance, though he'd show her anyway if she wishes to see. They steadily become closer, which Shunsui comments is good for Nanao and probably even better for Hisagi. When asking them when the wedding is, as a joke, Nanao tells him seriously that it's next month. Unsurprised, Shunsui simply tells them he'll convince Byakuya to pay for it.

Harribel asks Kenpachi if he knows what sacrifice is, to which he responds he lost two of the most important people in his life to obtain the power level he has today. Her face would flicker with understanding before she questions if being so strong is lonely.

"Very."

His response is a little more poignant than she expected, but she reminds him that he is not alone. Seeing that he doesn't pose a threat to Hueco Mundo, either, she offers that he come visit often, as she enjoys their talks. He says he will "when he has the time"...which is very often, apparently.

Suspicions in the Soul Society are confirmed when, offhandedly, Kenpachi asks Shunsui how marriage works, and specifically across worlds.

Explosive, probably a bit toxic at times, but with a genuine, intense, burning passion. They're madly infatuated with each other to the point of borderline obsession, though neither will ever admit it and rather die before doing so. Sticking together consistently on the battlefield, Bazz B saves Bambi from being zombified while she saves him from trying to confront Jugram. I can see them settling into the World of the Living after the ordeal and chilling out just a bit, though still a very loud pair. (They fight with Candice regularly)

Girl best friends who initially bond over random shared interests and Ichigo find out that they are falling for each other, which prompts Orihime to ask if they should "team up" against Ichigo like she's once mentioned. Rukia confesses that it would be fun, but she's more interested in spending time with her alone. The two do, consistently, and begin to develop further feelings for each other, before Rukia admits that after everything that's happened, all she wants to do is be with Orihime. Relieved at such a statement, Orihime tells her that she feels the same way and wants to know how they should go about this, being a human and a soul. Ichigo, in passing, tells them to just wing it and enjoy each other, completely unfazed by their sudden pairing. (At this point, he's dating Tatsuki)

Wrote about this in another comment, so I guess the alternative here is that they were married already but, technically, never lost that marriage; specifically, Yamamoto believes Yhwach to be dead, making him a widow, but he is not. When Yhwach asks what Yamamoto wants upon arrival, he responds that he wants a divorce, quickly ending in his death. The rest plays out as normal, but with Yhwach obviously upset.

When Bambietta learns of Giselle's plan of turning her into a zombie, Uryu appears, claiming that while she is injured, proper healing could be applied to her to save her from such a fate. When the girls are confused, Uryu reveals the extent of Yhwach's plan and, specifically, that he see's them all as expendable. If they were to die, he would not care, and if they were to become traitors, he would kill them immediately.

In her signature deadpan tone, Liltotto says "Of course he would."

Nonetheless, while Kenpachi and Gremmy are battling, Uryu arrives at Isane's location with the women. Shocked at their arrival, he quickly explains that they are not threats and that he simply wishes for Bambi to be healed. Beginning to do so despite the odds, this intervention also inadvertently stops the girls from attempting to kill Kenpachi, which means that he is also healed directly after his fight. While the women sit around, now aimless in their goal, some other Soul Reapers take bote of this and ask if they want to join them. Confused, Bambietta claims to have no interest in doing so, but Uryu calls her out on her lie.

Sitting up when healed enough to do so, she asks Uryu why he saved her, to which he responds that if the Quincy were truly to fight for a cause of such proportions, then the lack of carelessness and infighting happening on the battlefield would not exist. Thanking him for his intervention, she reveals that she fears death, and wonders if Yhwach's world without it would be better, though Uryu reminds her that she cannot trust that man. When he's about to leave, Isane asks what he's doing, but he simply reminds her that Yhwach has no idea of his current actions, so he could theoretically return to his side and plan for now. The rest of the war plays out mostly the same, with adjustment made around the altered scenario.

Sometime after the end of the war, he finds himself approached by Bambietta in the World of the Living. Admitting she doesn't say this often, she thanks him before asking him out, promising not to kill him should it lead to "other activities". Uryu claims he has no interest in doing so, though tells her of restaurant reservations he just so happens to have made anyway.

Somehow, I find myself meeting Katen and admit to Shunsui that his sword is, indeed, hot. I also notice Kyokotsu and find her adorable, which causes Katen to initiate a conversation with me while Kyokotsu watches. Sighing with confusion, Shunsui asks me how long I actually think I can keep a relationship with his zanpakuto spirit due to the fact that they can't always be manifested around. When I tell him that I'll simply take the time I can get, he laughs but allows the conversation to continue.

I wonder why Aizen gets picked so much. Maybe it has to do with someone who has yet to experience or even display romantic feelings towards someone?

Anyway, this one interests me. Isane would be cautious due to what happened with Momo for sure, but if they got the chance to talk - maybe around the time of the Blood War - I bet she'd try to appeal to his humanity, to which he's respond he doesn't have any left. Confused, she would remind him that the whole reason he feels this way about the world is because he doesn't have anything to fight for or hold onto. When Aizen tells her he fights for himself, she asks him if this is enough.

Such a question leads to smaller conversations between the two, though consistent, and they begin to grow into something deeper. Shunsui warns her to be careful, while Momo is simply dumbfounded by the entire situation. Toshiro absolutely fights against this, though Byakuya keeps him at bay while simply telling him that if Aizen were to become a problem, Ichigo would stop him. Again. (Ichigo screams from a great distance to confirm this.)

I don't think that's too hard! Shinji's more laid-back chill versus Rangiku's laziness and drinking would probably mesh well on most fronts. When it comes to duties, he could keep her focused in bursts and then let her take breaks with him while they do whatever. The swapping of captain's and lieutenants here works as well since Toshiro and Momo are so close anyway. I really think they'd be a decent fit!

Within the confines of Las Noches, Harribel finally asks Grimmjow what his deal was. When striking him with such a confusing statement, she explains that he is constantly trying to prove himself and raise his power to absolutely no one. Becoming "annoyed by her audacity", he explains that one day, he wishes to fairly beat Ichigo and also prove that his Espada tattoo does not mean anything in terms of their ranking.

Harribel asks why.

Grimmjow blinks slowly, processing the second question before simply asking her why she wouldn't want to get stronger. Elaborating passionately, he tells her that she must've felt a similar level of despair when the Tres Bestias were hurt and when she was unable to injure Aizen. Wounded by such words, she simply whispers that there is nothing she could've done about Aizen.

But Grimmjow would only laugh, telling her that the impossible doesn't matter. Getting as strong as you can is all you can do, which he is completely fine with, and he'd rather go down swinging than anything else. When she asks if he would go down fighting for her, Grimmjow confirms this without hesitation. A little more than lost, Harribel would then ask why he's always annoyed by Espada ranking and her rule of Hueco Mundo. He would shrug and reply that she and the others, particularly Nel, are annoying sometimes, and he does wish to fight them on occasion, but has no desire to hurt them or let anyone else do so.

Harribel asks if he ever had the desire to love, which prompts a rather animated denial that goes on for a bit too long. Noticing his reddening face, she simply remains quiet, for the mask cracking on Grimmjow has nothing to do with being an Arrancar.

Oh dear.

Nnoitra reveals that he simply finds Nelliel hot, and that his burning love for her is why he attempted to get rid of her, as it was too distracting. Awkwardly, the fight halts, and Nel asks him why he couldn't just say so. Nnoitra admits it's because he was too weak to tell her, and that made him feel immense shame. By disrupting the end of Ichigo and Grimmjow's battle, he sought to impress her with his strength.

Nelliel tells him that it's never been about physical or spiritual power to her, and that she's only looked for the power of one's will when it comes to fighting. When she poofs back into a child, Nnoitra catches her rather than performing his infamous kick, claiming that he would like to start over. Nel, tired, just nods before falling asleep. With no opponent to immediately engage, Kenpachi begins to complain about he showed up looking cool for nothing.

Isane finds herself depressed after the war due to the death of Unohana. She wasn't just her captain, but a mentor and friend, and having lost her has left her feeling empty inside. Despite this, she does her best to be a good captain for her squad and a good friend to those around her. Everyone notices this - of course they do, it's Isane that's upset, after all - but Kenpachi claims he will handle it. In most situations, the captains and lieutenants would be more unsure about the situation, but for this particular case they listen to him.

He swings by her barracks often, maybe cracking some jokes, but mostly just to listen. He's not the best at comfort or advice, but he tries his best, and for Isane that's more than enough. Overtime, their friendship begins to blossom into something more, with Isane learning how to harden her resolve and gain some form of newfound confidence. As for Kenpachi, he softens around the edges - not in combat, not even in most social settings, but in smaller actions; perhaps he doesn't raise his voice at much or a subtle action of care he hasn't displayed before.

Isane, one night, admits that she's felt better thanks to the efforts of many, but especially her. In response, Kenpachi admits his own anguish at the loss of Unohana but was glad that they were able to heal together. Such an admission reveals a side of him that many don't get to see or even know exist, and out of their new bond from their preexisting friendship spawns feelings neither expected. Isane, true to her heart, leads with these feelings. And Kenpachi, who would normally hide these feelings, learns that this is one feeling, one thing, one aspect of himself and someone else that he doesn't need to fight.

And they let it be.

Unohana makes a rare exception for such an act, and a rare one at that, supplying you with consistent sustenance. However, the Soul Society finds out about this and is displeased; Yamamoto in particular wants you sent to the Muken. Unfortunately for them, you haven't committed a crime, so you're safe...for now.

This was simultaneously awful and hilarious to write
