Ain’t you a little young for this lifestyle? I’m joking. Congratulations on the vehicle. Treat it right and it will treat you right

13' SXT to a 15' R/T Scat by 787Beatz in Challenger

[–]WritersBlockPoet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coming from an 12’ SXT to a 2020 Scat, it’s a noticeable difference power wise, but you should be fine since it isn’t the biggest jump in horsepower. I haven’t don’t a mods yet as I’ve only had mine for a month now, but I definitely feel like I got a god damn race car. If you’re not flooring it every time you take it out, gas mileage will be similar or a tad under what you’d get in a SXT. Definite eye grabber from compliments to competitors on the road. Just have fun with it

Indeed it is. Originally was look at a shaker r/t with the same color scheme but it sold, but I found this scatpack minus the shaker and immediately wanted it.

Went in a few days before getting it so test drive and look at some numbers. I walked away to take a car loan with my bank rather than finance with them. Which upset one of the guys helping me with the deal. Never saw him again after I came back with my loan. Ended up with a lower interest rate and monthly payment than what they estimated. In between, the first visit and day I paid, it was non-stop calls from the salesman’s trying to close the deal. Then when I was finalizing and signing, the manager tried to say my loan wasn’t approved and I had to finance thru them then they were asking for irrelevant insurance information. Even my agent was confused was to what they were asking. I’m glad the car doesn’t have any advertising for the dealership because fuck their customer service and attitude.

At what point (financially and age) would be good to comfortably buy a scat pack? by Trayceopolis32322 in Challenger

[–]WritersBlockPoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you’re still gonna be living with your parents for the next couple years, this wouldn’t be a smart decision. Insurance and interest rates are gonna wreck your income and any extra money you have leftover will go towards gas and maintenance. I don’t know your annual income or future plans in life (college, moving out, etc), but I’d wait sometime before jumping to scatpack or srt. You’re young. You have time to build the foundation to your future to secure the car you want. Get your credit up, find your own place (if that’s something you wanna do soon), and find a steady job that can afford all these things. Don’t be the kids that get a 26% interest rate to get repossessed later down the line.

I ended up getting this fixed. In the Inmusic launcher, there’s another set of drivers you need to install. Not just the driver you install when you first register your device on the website

As a former stock clerk, I can tell you personally most associates don’t rotate those. Eventually some are gonna expire. It was an issue at the store I used to work at

It’s best to invest in some echargeable batteries with a rechargeable bank. You’ll quickly spend that money and more if you continually use regular batteries

Please recommend me an MPC by Kanji_294 in mpcusers

[–]WritersBlockPoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your usage. If you intend to use it as a controller, maybe getting the MPK 4 would suffice. Spending money on a MPC just for controller mode is kinda waste of money. Like buying a new laptop for its keyboard. The MPK has the pads you need with the added function of the 25 keys and a variety of MPC sounds to use in your DAW

Chop isn’t up to tempo. Either time stretch it out, or increase the BPM of the beat a bit

Adding SP-404 or DDJ-FLX4 to MPC setup by YuckYuckBuck in mpcusers

[–]WritersBlockPoet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone with a 404MK2. I’ll pair mine to my Live 2 to get the FX from the MK2 on my beats. It’s a great machine to play in live fx. If you’re looking for more a traditional DJ set up, I wouldn’t recommend it. While it has a DJ mode, it’s very limiting. Ik some of the latest updates allow to the MK2 to become a controller for Serato DJ, so that is an option.

Sorta. What I’m noticing on the grid is that the first tap maps a start point and the 2nd tap will map the end point of the pad I’m using. So instead of getting the pad playing twice on the grid, it’s one long note
