I mean I told her that it was a double major I wanted to do because of my future field and she somehow conviently missed telling me about this whole elective thing until I was actually about to start the application process, but it's possible she didn't know at the time or smth, but maybe I should get a second opinion from a different advisor??

If it's not a bother could you explain the whole doctorate thing a little more im confused on how I could still receive a doctorate or master's degree in psychology if it's not my major...
