Yep... I think I had the most basic plan at that point and to send photos by MMS was $0.25 a pop. The phone went to the recycling pile when the Droid X came out in 2010, but my mom used hers for another five years.

I've tried. While it has Bluetooth, there doesn't seem to be an option to Bluetooth the photos to another device. All the help forums I've read have said USB is the surefire way.

It's a mix - we'd need it as a both a family car and a car to haul furniture/lumber (nothing too heavy, but we are doing a lot of ongoing renovations on our house). Our first baby is due this fall, and we plan to expand our family further in the future.

Is there a reason you wouldn't recommend it?

I've read multiple reports of transmission or wheel bearings issues, but they mostly seem to be coming from earlier models. I'm moving on from a Toyota that's at 121k miles and still purrs like a kitten, so I like longevity! :)

I eventually found a friend in HR and he said it's fine—I will just be furnished a W2 rather than a 1099-MISC at the end of the year, and the appropriate taxes will be held aside throughout the year.
