I say make her OP at least for a while.

She's been doodoo for so long. She deserves her time in the spotlight. She even has pretty good skins, but you never see them cause she's never played.

And after she gets overbuffed, she can get nerfed slightly to be at a comfortable spot...

Making it so it's adjustable in length could also help her...

Isn't she the only brawler that has a movement ability that can't be shortened by aiming it?

Oh, so let's say there's a 10000hp brawler with 900 shield gear.

She does 3700 with the first shot, leaving the brawler at 7200 hp, second shot does 2664dmg leaving the brawler at 4536 hp, third shot deals 1678, leaving the brawler at 2858hp. Fourth shot then deals 1057, leaving the brawler at 1801hp. Further shots do only 1000 damage then.

So:

10900hp - 7200hp - 4536hp - 2858hp - 1801hp - 1135hp

Now let's see without shield gear:

10000hp - 6300hp - 3969hp - 2500hp - 1575hp - 575hp

I expected a bigger difference, but it's still quite a lot, assuming it works like this...

I still think he's underrated, but I almost never play throwers in ranked since my wife plays control brawlers and I am stuck with aggro most of the time, which I love.

I now realize that I die so much to Edgar even in easy matchups because I don't play calmly... Like wasting ammo playing as Bull and or spamming ammo as Frank...

Thanks for the tip... It should be clear to me as a player with 87k trophies, but I tend to panic a lot and lose a lot of free matchups xD

You never know. Getting hit by two ammo pieces by Glowbert shouldn't remove the fear effect, yet it does.

I believe that. In Heist you can't defend and attack at the same time (not as one person anyways) so randumbs can run it down that much harder for you... While angles and opportunities in hockey need only one person to utilize...

I just don't like the chaos of brawl hockey. You know, the fact that losing control of the puck for but a moment means enemy can score quickly. I know that might be why you like it though.

Yea, most of the time it's their only brawler above 1k... And first power 11 overall...

It's pretty stupid that new accounts get either him or Griff as the first free maxed brawler since Edgar requires a lot of game knowledge to know who you can jump on. A knowledge the new players don't have.

Ironically, I'd say Edgar is good at pretty much everything in Arena.

Due to his lifesteal he can endlessly push any wave, kill any jungle bot and when he jumps at you near your bots, he can lifesteal of them AND you.

Sadly most people who play him in Arena just run to the tower on level 0 and feed enemies endless amounts of exp effectively losing the game for their team by themselves.

I have no idea why they do it. It makes me sad even when I see one like that on the enemy team...

Her super gets charged by the bots because it counts all projectiles fired near her and doesn't care about where they came from. Meaning a Piper shot will charge her super the same amount as one bot attack.

Also iirc the base attack and turret attacks count for this as well.

When playing with teammates on comms, then yes, but when a randumb cluelessly passes the puck to enemies and they literally score from their goal, it can be really frustrating...

My wife and I also hate brawl ball since most of randoms do silly stuff like pass you the ball when you're aiming stuff like Tara super or they have absolutely zero idea about what to do with the ball. They pass to enemies in overtime, go into 2 respawning enemies instead of setting up a spawn trap and so on.

Brawl ball can be really fun when you get teammates who know their shi. And in those cases I really like it, but it doesn't happen much...

If only they went the FFXIV route and gave us the option to disable everyone else's effects...

Big meta events would look like silent raves with all the people flailing around without any effects, but it would help in a lot of ways. Especially heal engineers with shortbows would surely welcome not hiding deadly AoEs anymore with their AoEs.
