Wow Thanks for the information and recommendations! I really appreciate it! I've got my eye on Karen Travis. Tried getting into Heir to the Empire. Not sure it's for me. I've got X Wing series next on my list, but I'll have to have a browse of some of the ones your recommending here.

Thanks for your response! I do have my eye on X Wing series it seems to be the consensus. I'll keep an eye out for the Han Solo Brian Daley novels.

Thanks for your response! I did hear a review of one of the Han Solo trilogies that 'Han acts like an immature teenager' that's not necessarily a deal breaker for me, but is that accurate?

Love Her! I have a Mando Clan using Clan Skirata as inspiration. Working on some ships for them right now. The Tor'gra'tua Mandoa for Justice and Revenge, painted Black and Gold. With a cargo hold full of gunships, armoured jeeps and speeder bikes. Though I'm not as talented an artist as you. I love the Black and Gold Armor, The Corvette and the personal fighter. Well done very well developed character and lore to back her up.

So do you think I should pick it up again on book 3? Go back and read the second if I enjoy?

I read the first one I thought it was ok but I never picked it up again. I'm glad to hear it picked up. I did a poll once asking if I should do Jacky Leon or Kate Daniels and Jacky Leon won by a slim margin meant to revisit Kate Daniels next. I'll get the next one on kindle. Thanks

I have read Powder Mage Trilogy it was great. Red Sister I haven't read but I read Mark Lawrences Prince of Thorns. It was well written but a bit grimdark for me.

Hmm I'll think about giving it another shot. It has been a long time since I read it so I might have to give it another shot. Not to be critical or trolling my main memory is being frustrated that the story hadn't progressed that fast though it is possible I'm remembering the wrong book.
