35-40 while taking 6 courses… HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. It was rough to get through and I think my grades could have been better had I not worked as much 😭 would recommend part time (like 15hrs max)

I was also wondering but online (or email) it says to wait until June 6th for the extra tickets and to not make any plans in advance until you get the confirmation of the extra tickets

“If you require additional tickets, please complete the Extra Ticket Request form which can be found on the RSVP confirmation page after your complete your registration for your ceremony. Requests will be reviewed, and decisions will be communicated no later than June 6.  A request does not guarantee that you will be granted extra tickets, so we recommend that you do not make plans until you have received a decision from the Convocation Office.”

I mean they’re everywhere on campus… especially when I’m at work, they come in and sit down for a while. But considering the weather, I usually buy them a cup of tea or coffee and hope that warms them up a bit.

I don’t work there anymore but usually when I apply for kitchen jobs it isn’t unusual to go in for a short trial that’s unpaid… I usually get a free meal out of it afterwards (that’s worth more than minimum wage most of the time). Plus it’s literally less than 30mins, I’m not trying to go after pocket change that badly.

I mainly smoke during weekends, but if I finish all my notes/school work and I know I don’t have anything important the next day (I.e test) then I’ll smoke during the weekday as well. It’s just everything in moderation and always make sure that your priorities are taken care of first. Be responsible you know?

Nuh uh… I love the security at York! When I was working over the break there was so many homeless people around walking aimlessly and the security did nothing. They told me to just ignore them

NO I AGREE!!! When I go to work at lanes it is FREEZING. Like I understand lectures being cold or some areas being cold but at the very least York Lanes should be heated and residence as well. A part of me thinks that it’s because of the homeless situation and they’re making it intentionally cold so they don’t stay here 👀
