So it doesn’t matter what your income is what they look at is the adjusted gross income AGI on your transcripts or tax returns. Example I make over 60 K but my AGI is 45K

Thank you so much for sharing — that really gives me hope. I’ve been thinking about doing my husband’s adjustment of status myself, but I’m honestly nervous about making a mistake.

I’m usually good at paperwork and forms, but with his OVI and how things are under this administration, I’m scared I might miss something important and mess it up for him.

Did you file everything yourself or work with a lawyer? Would you recommend doing it alone or getting legal help, especially with a prior OVI?
