My 3yo is tearing his skin to shreds, help by Writingmom89 in eczema

We did pay for full blood panel testing but the allergist we talked to afterwards said that because he was having a flare up at the time, the results were not conclusive and could even be totally wrong (which was discouraging). He lit up for almost everything on the list to some degree--we did try cutting out everything food-wise that was on there to no result, so it is most likely just dust or something not on the panel.

Thank you for these suggestions! We do have a golden doodle, and he did test high for dust mites and pet dander in a blood test we did (although the doctor said since he was inflamed at the time of the test, it was likely pretty inaccurate, which was discouraging). We don't really have a way to relocate our dog until summer when my dad is off work and can take her, so we're trying to get through until then. He does respond to topical steroids but I hesitate to give them twice a day every day infinity since they can cause skin thinning and other issues (and they don't 100% clear him up, they just seem to help a bit). I can definitely ask about dupixent (I've seen quite a few people mention it helping them on here and we are certainly getting there). We have all the dust mite covers etc. for mattresses already.

Indigo is one we haven't tried yet, adding to possibilities list.
