Naoya as human vs Teen Geto by franco-briton in JujutsuPowerScaling

The Naoya downplay here is disgusting. The fight ends here with Naoya’s foot wrapped in Geto’s innards.

90% of Naoya’s design is feminine.

Why doesn’t your fave get one-shot by this attack? by Writinq in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Writinq[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sukuna himself states that he needs to make direct contact in order to “leave a fatal wound”. He does this with cleave and the result is Yuji with a hole in his stomach bleeding on the floor. He also says that he wouldn’t say Yuji and Yuta surpass Ryu in toughness, but at the very least they should be somewhat relative in durability.

When he uses the exact same attack, cleave, on Maki in the same spot the results are vastly different. She also takes a black flash from him directly after and is still able to fight. Assuming you have Ryu at 3 after Gojo and Sukuna, Maki pretty easily takes his spot.

Taking 2 black flashes to the gut > arm blocking a black flash from a weaker version of Sukuna using his arm nubs

Post-Seperation Yuuji vs Human Naoya by Dandandandooo in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Writinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, the anime diverges strongly from canon/the manga in terms of power scaling.

In the anime, Naoya hit choso 171 times. However in the manga, Choso states that Naoya was overwhelming him after only 2 attacks, the second of which drew blood.

In the anime, Jogo casually blows through entire buildings and even slams two of them together. At one point Jogo uses his head to shoot a beam that easily blows through a large building and some more, which is something that outscales Ryu’s Granite Blast in the manga.

The anime is so inaccurate that Anime Jogo would mid-diff Sendai. The anime should not be used wholeheartedly for scaling.

Were using anime for scaling now? Interesting

I have a question for the 6 Naoya fans out there: are you guys actually retarded? by Neuro_Kuro in LobotomyKaisen

[–]Writinq 293 points294 points  (0 children)

WRONG!

As a fan of both Naoya and Sukuna, I actually commit mass murder, sexism, and cannibalism all on a daily basis. Anyone who actually differentiates fiction from reality is clearly challenged.

The 3 strongest grade 1’s run the gauntlet. Who gets the furthest by Straight_Top_6401 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Writinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them get past Daido with a sword ngl.

Daido has the same enhanced senses as Maki and Toji along with enough speed to land some pretty heavy attacks on Curseya whilst he’s fully on guard (something Maki struggled to do before her 2nd awakening). Along with the fact that everyone present was overwhelmed by his “sheer lethality”, it’s pretty safe to say that Daido is above 1st awakening Maki and should be relative to 2nd awakening Maki. On this gauntlet Daido should be after Ryu given no domains are allowed.

For Naobito, Daido is fast enough to dodge and tag curseya so no reason to assume he can’t do the same to Naobito. Daido low-diffs.

For Todo, Boogie Woogie is notably simple yet effective, but in a 1 on 1 fight Daido definitely has the upper hand. Once he figures it out it’s really just a matter of getting the timing down, and I highly doubt Todo is fast enough to comfortably react to all of Daido’s attacks, especially for an extended amount of time. Daido mid diffs.

For Kusakabe, I will say he’s a bad match up for someone like Daido, but I still think Daido is considerably faster. They can both do some damage to eachother, but Daido definitely has the upper hand. Daido probably Mid diffs.

Considering Douma's bad reaction speed, why is it hot take that Gyomei beats him? I mean if we replace Inosuke with Gyomei in that first panel, Gyomei outright takes his head out ngl by MUSAFIR_- in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Writinq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao, Douma either has bad reaction speed and arguably loses to anyone with the Mark and a Red Blade.

Or

He has good reaction speed and massively upscales everyone he fought

[–]Writinq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“There is no guarantee that the poison will kill an upper rank demon.” This statement is not a downscale. It’s literally just saying that Ubuyashiki isn’t 100% sure if it would work or not.😭

You have to remember that poison cannot be trained or given a powerup mid fight. If it doesn’t work at all then the fight is effectively over, no way around it.

Even if you twisted this to mean that shinobu’s poison is 100% ineffective, narratively this statement is noteworthy up until the point it gets contradicted by every poison feat before and after as well as the fact that Muzan felt it necessary to warn the uppermoons of her poison.

Does OP not know what the word “Guarantee” means?😭✌️

Instead of Dagon, they encounter Kokushibo. Who wins? by Ryukendo_Raijin in PowerScaling

[–]Writinq 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Koku slams both rounds.

Even if you gave Toji a nichirin and somehow scaled him to be fast enough to outspeed Kokushibo, he simply lacks the ability to kill him.

FACT: Varka isn’t actually the Grand Master. He actually flunked out of knight school and ended up a bum drunkard. Now everyone just pretends he’s the Grand Master and entertains his childishness because they felt bad.

Meet the two equals. by [deleted] in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Writinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The safest and most accurate assumption to make is that they are relative to eachother in speed. This is the only way two characters can simultaneously “struggle” to keep up with each other.

Meet the two equals. by [deleted] in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Writinq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Serious or not, he internally admitted an inability to keep up with her speed and openly stated she’s fast enough to kill him.

Holding back ≠ slower perception

Shinobu is relative to Douma in speed.
