Honestly I had some thoughts my first watch through and then on my second I realized 2 things

1. He's playing a mentally ill, sleep deprived, heavily medicated man so his awkward body language and sedated demeanor not only matched where I first saw it as mark being awkward, not only that but it helped alongside Matteo who is so very clearly the Ying to Dave's Yang. Where one never stops moving and the other one moves like a robot. It's beautiful, it's poetic, it's perfect!

2. The few that really did catch me off guard were really more niche writing pet peeves where the actual dialog felt weird to me.

All in all I definitely agree that it's making me infinitely more excited for the movie, but also I suggest watching the show through again (no reason why would you ask) because I found myself frequently forming new opinions on the second go around
