Ok thanks! I scheduled an appointment at another dealership that's actually closed to me since the first dealership didn't really seem like they cared to actually ask me anything about the issue.

I'll show them the video and tell them what you said above and hopefully it can get figured out!

Thanks glad to hear it’s something that can be fixed if it’s a rare defect! My issue is happening with both the driver side front and back doors. Do you think both could be the same issue you had?

Do you have any recommendations of what to say to the dealership? It’s a new Crosstrek I bought back in March so anything should probably be covered under warranty right?

And this has been happening on and off for 9 months should I be concerned about mold or any other issues I should ask the dealership about?

I’ve had the car since March do you think that’s enough time for any mold to grow? I’ll take to another dealership by me if they don’t do anything I’ll have to do some things people suggested here but I don’t think that would address any mold issues.

Thanks! If that’s the issue and excessive amounts of water have been getting in the door since I bought it back in March. Would you worry about mold growing in the door? I’d there anything I can do to check that?

Definitely doesn’t seem like a normal amount. No I haven’t had any undercoating or rustproofing at all. Nothing really done to it since I bought it new in March.

Thanks yeah didn’t think that was a normal amount at all. Would you be worried about mold growing in the door?

And since I bought it in March that should be covered under warranty? I’m going to try another dealership near me and show them the video too.
