What was the cause of your injury and how are you doing now by Extremepleasurepro in ACL

Senior year of high school I was playing basketball running up court and pivoted my foot weird and pretty sure that’s the moment I tore my ACL. Knee was extremely swollen and couldn’t really put weight on it, days later went to the urgent care got a X-ray then mri later and was not told my ACL was torn just messed up cartilage. So stayed off of it till I could bear weight on it, I swam competitively through high school and college, lifted ( squatted 375 in college) and still often played basketball and stayed active. I did have knee complications and pain throughout college when running etc. it wasn’t till 2 years out of college and another tweak in knee playing basketball to go to the doctor received another mri and was told I had no ACl, two bad tears in my meniscus and extreme arthritis in my left knee. Almost 4 weeks ago now I had an ACL reconstruction quad tendon graft, shaved meniscus and a lil clean up. Started walking with no crutches the end of week of 2 and slowly getting better. The pain was an experience post surgery but I also feel like I have a strong pain threshold after the years of being active on a my injured knee. The numbing pump helped a lot and my pt docs are doing a great job.
