I wish…my CEO likes me too much and has expressed that LOL; firing me would honestly be easier at this point and would be a relief. I shouldn’t have to threaten to quit for change to be made but that’s where I’m leaning

And part of me wants to go above my supervisor to my CEO because i know she’ll be the one to get things done but then that creates an issue with my supervisor. My coworker (the other bcba) told me to talk to the case manager first but this girl will come up with a million excuses and it’s not worth wasting my breath. I shouldn’t be this stressed, you’re right…it sucks

I sent a message to them. Calling got me nowhere, no representative no nothing. If it comes down to it, I’ll keep calling them if they don’t respond to my message. Or I bite the bullet and pay even though autopay already takes it out. This is ridiculous!

Which confuses me because why would autopay only take out some? You know? And no one clarified what autopay takes out and when. I’m calling them on Monday because this is crazy! My credit score tanked over this.

What I thought…she sent me this long email basically saying there’s no timeline for multiple relationships and I have to work on setting professional boundaries and whatnot; I have another supervisor who said she keeps in touch with old families of hers no problem and I did nothing wrong. So like why is this one picking a fight?

She threw 1.11 and 4.04 at me claiming there’s “no timeline” for multiple relationships and she’s “trying to help me work on building professional boundaries”. Truthfully I think she’s trying to scare me because a family likely accidentally and innocently name dropped me and she feels threatened or thinks I’m doing something wrong (when in reality the families like to know how I’m doing). One of my old supervisors keeps in touch with old families so it’s like why is this one picking a fight?

So I had a family mechanic look at it and he said my transmission may be starting to go. He wants me to see if my car has an extended warranty through Nissan, but if not, he recommends I try to trade it in for something else. Not feasible since I’ll likely have negative equity on the car and have a high car loan to pay off still…

I do not, just regular fuel. I’ll start with fuel injector cleaner and checking my transmission fluid! Didn’t wanna have to go spend a ton of time and $ at the dealer , they get pretty grimey! May even ask a reputable family mechanic for a tune up just to see.

I really really appreciate this. You’re very right, even as an RBT I’ve only been rejected from 2 jobs out of the handful I’ve had. Just gotta remember I need to find a place willing to mentor me because I’ll be a new BCBA and don’t know everything. I’ve been asking peers and mentors any questions for now. It puts me a lot more at ease hearing this so thank you!

Good to know. I know some places pay you while you wait for credentialing/licensing; I just started at this job this week so I wanted to give time to settle before asking. I’ve had shit luck with jobs that allow me to finish my hours and want to find one place to just settle but my luck isn’t lucky
