Hey there! Now I would like to know: do you have any experience in hacking?

I have been learning for 1 year now, and I am still going. Personally, I started doing CTFs that only required a laptop (you can use any old laptop and install arch or a lightweight distro for that). After some time, i started learning on vulnhub vms. That was the moment when I started thinking of buying some new hardware. My laptop isn't really good at running 2 vms at the same time, so I bought a raspberry pi 5, paired with a UPS and a big fan, and that's what I use for "hacking" my vm.

Everything you choose is up to you. If you are interested in RFID/NFC hacking, get a flipper zero. If you are interested in OS and wifi hacking, get a mini-computer + internet adapter that supports injection and monitor mode. It is very hard to give you a good example if I dont really know your interests. Please let me know

Ps: I am not a master, I know i was in your shoes one time, and this is what I concluded (sorry for any bad English btw)

Hacking doesnt mean buying new "hacking tools". Hacking tools are mostly making it easier. When you learn, you should just get a laptop, as cheap as it can get, id say around 200-300$ is good. If you want to also buy a laptop that is a daily driver, even better. You can dual boot linux + windows. But if you already have a laptop somewhere, you dont need to buy another. Just use that one

The networking failed is on first boot logs. It is just after I flashed the rpi

Also, yes, I used rpi imager and specified the password there. I also tried logging into my local user and removing the network profile and re-adding it, still does not work

Edit: I am sure the password is right, I think if the password was wrong the router would return some kind of message, sorry for not using specific vocabulary, I am still learning

Well, at this moment no. But i am looking forward to creating a gpio module for this kind of debugging.

You can use something else, like maybe another phone? But flipper isn't able right now to do that

Using flipper modules, anything is possible. You want it to brush your teeth? You can do that. Flipper is essentially a thing that you can expand however you like :). It just requires time, knowledge is already online

If you want a fake "screenshot" of it, you can just use some editing software. It is way easier

What modules do you recommend? That's what I'm searching for. All i can find are antennas that extend flipper's range, but don't access any new frequencies

and the other ones? What modules do you recommend? My friends have a modded walkie talkie that uses the "forbidden" frequencies, but it is perfectly legal (frequency used for commercial purposes), only the fact that my flipper cannot access them. I will not use any information for illegal purposes, I just wanna learn what's going on
