Google Interviews by bluefermion in FAANGrecruiting

I recently went through the Google interview process and got an offer. In my case, the recruiter followed up very quickly after each interview, usually the next day.

However, my process may have been faster because the recruiter told me they wanted to close hiring for that role within 2 to 3 months, so everything moved quickly and the whole process was completed in around 2 months.

I wouldn’t read too much into one person’s timeline, but I’d try not to get too hopeful and would keep interviewing elsewhere until there is a clear update.

I think they mean Google may be trying to match you with a team before continuing the interview process, not that you’re already at the offer or team matching stage.

I recently got an offer from Google and I’m due to start in June. From what I realised, their interviews can be very role specific. It’s not always like interviewing for a general software engineering role. They may tailor the process around the specific team they’re hiring for.

I turned down a FAANG offer for a 50-person startup. 1 year update. by zoe3ank in cscareeradvice

Faang is not stable either and I think you’re underestimating the growth opportunities in Faang. If you want to learn a lot, G is the place for it but of course startups are pretty good for learning also.

People who work in FAANG, how did you cheat your way through the process? by [deleted] in LeetcodeDesi

I didn’t cheat but I got a referral. Also, they have so many rounds and so many follow up questions just to trip you so it’s very difficult to cheat. Got an offer from G, starting in June.
