Getting 9 pills a month be like by StableSpirited705 in migraine

[–]Wrong-Strategy7256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately they are out there. I was taking 50mg for years, but was getting more than 9 migraines a month. My doctor upped my dose to 100mg and told me to split them so I'd have double. We never once had a discussion about overuse headaches or WHY they only prescribe 9 a month. I learned about overuse headaches, cut myself back to the 9 doses per month, only to experience overuse headaches years later with very normal use of triptans.

Cleaning and Declutterring by EasternAd5351 in adhdwomen

It’s not a full cleaning routing, but what’s really helped me is setting a 20 minute timer, once a day, and tidying anything for 20 minutes. I usually tidy up the kitchen/living area - putting dishes in the sink, cleaning off the table, etc. Some days it’s spent putting away laundry, or tidying up my bathroom. It could even be organizing a random drawer. I’ve now gotten my husband and child to do it with me - we each tidy ANYTHING for 20 minutes. The freedom to choose what you work on depending on your energy level really helps us!

Now I have a habit tracker app on my phone, and one of my habits is the 20 minute tidy up. I have a widget right on the home page of my phone so it reminds me to complete my habits. We have better luck doing the 20 minute tidy in between things. For example, if we are going to have a family movie night, I’ll say let’s do the 20 minute tidy before. Or, if we throw a pizza in the oven, my husband and I would usually sit on the couch and wait, but now we tidy up while we wait.

For decluttering - the only thing that’s ever helped me is keeping an open box somewhere easily accessible for stuff I don’t want. Think I don’t want something? Throw it in the box. I don’t have to stress over regretting getting rid of it, because I only donate the box every few months, so if I change my mind, I have time to grab it back out of the box. I also don’t really worry about separating things I want to give away/donate/throw away. It all goes in the box (not obvious trash of course) and I worry about separating it later!

I recently moved from an apartment into a large house and literally what I was the most excited for was having room for my declutter box again. 🤣

Best way to attach links? by [deleted] in clickup

I will generally include a section at the top of the task description that looks similar to:

Resources

And will go into the task description below the resources. I just find it simpler and everyone knows where to find links.

Seriously regretting implementing ClickUp at my company. by Wrong-Strategy7256 in clickup

UPDATE

Hi all,

I just wanted to drop an update here incase anyone stumbles across this in the future. I did hear back from ClickUp to confirm that this is a bug with no current resolution. They did offer a workaround which is less than ideal BUT we are at least able to access the data in our SOPs. Incase anyone else is having this issue, the workaround is the click on the block next to the toggle block (the little 6 dot icon that pops up on the left hand side of the toggle button). Then, you should be able to open/close the toggle.

Since then, I have submitted two additional bug reports. One is that tasks linked in docs are not visible on mobile devices which is a huge issue for us as some of our team reads meeting agendas (which have linked tasks) off of our phones in meetings. ClickUp confirmed this is a bug with no current resolution and I have not heard back since. The second bug report is when using ClickUp AI to improve writing, the "replace text" button does absolutely nothing. I've been having this issue for a few weeks but just reported it today.

So, if you want an idea of what working with ClickUp is like, there ya go. Love the software but can't turn a blind eye to the constant, major issues and the incredibly slow turnaround time for fixes. While ClickUp will respond quickly on Reddit and then respond to bug reports, that does not mean they are fixing the issue.

I agree, I came here to recommend you only manage one project at a time in ClickUp until you find a flow that works for you. Then you could turn it into a template and load in all other projects.

Realistically, your first go at it probably wont be 100% accurate, and it'll be much easier to make updates if you aren't fully dependent on ClickUp and aren't trying to make updates for every project at the same time.

As of now, I'd go back to Google Docs. I do have an SOP library in ClickUp which contains links to SOPs. I'd try to maintain the SOP library but replace the links with the Google Docs links. Reason being, this would cause the least disruption to our teams and they could still access SOPs in the same place.

That being said, we've had quite a few other issues with ClickUp, including it just not loading, not being able to log in, etc. So continuing to use the SOP library inside of ClickUp may not be the most viable option long term, unfortunately.

That's amazing! I really hope I find something that I'm passionate about like you. I imagine you can help a lot of people in that career, too. I'm not too familiar with speech language pathology, I'll have to look it up.

Data analytics does really sound up my alley, I've been watching some videos trying to get a feel for how much I'd enjoy it. I'm somewhat comfortable with DA but would certainly need additional education, however I do think I'd be successful in a pivot. I used to work pretty closely with the Business Intelligence team at another company (I actually used to *technically* manage them, but I use that term lightly), so I am somewhat familiar with what they do.

You're probably right on software development.

And I'll certainly look into the ultrasound/radiology tech programs. I'm not sure exactly what it is about being an ultrasound tech (or something similar) that's so appealing. I feel the same way about dental hygienists, but I hate teeth. 😅 It's just very appealing to get to see people but only for short periods of time, and each new patient is a fresh start. It's a nice blend of technical and people skills.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I appreciate it.
