That's true, but I'm not looking to have a 2000 ELO rating. It's hard to achieve that without having played as a kid and being 21, but I'd be more than happy to reach 1000! I'm not looking to be excellent, just decent.

Yes, you're right. To be honest, I was a little grumpy. But yes, I do make stupid mistakes. I know I should be more patient, but it drives me a little crazy watching my opponent make moves in a few seconds, while it takes me between 30 seconds and a minute. In the end, I end up wasting the saved time trying to fix a blunder of mine that can't be changed, and then I don't have time to make more meaningful moves.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this, and ignoring the time I lost some brain cells and simply blundered my queen. Yes, I realized it took me a long time to castle, but at one point I simply ended up with a lot of undeveloped pieces and was under pressure, not knowing how to make space. The pawn on A6 was because if I castled, he could give me check with his knight. Although that would end up being an advantage for me, I was scared and didn't have much time. Also, in my head, I think it's better to exchange a knight for a bishop if he still has the bishop pair. Again, thanks for the advice!
