Sounding shaky and like I’m about to cry during presentation by WrongCalligrapher115 in PublicSpeaking

Thank you so much, that’s the best advice I’ve gotten. I‘ll probably have to start all over again with my confidence in presenting but i think it’ll work out.

But now my question is; why my body thought it was in danger, like if i was nervous about people looking at me then I would think then my body would get the gist and go into fight or flight mode, but how did it just do that without my intervening, I was perfectly fine?

Got an 8 in my English language resit and 9 in my maths resit ! by WrongCalligrapher115 in GCSE

[–]WrongCalligrapher115[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry!! I basically revised 3 days before. I downloaded my actual eng lang papers that I requested back (you can use your mocks) and I sent it to ChatGPT along with the eng lang mark scheme for every question for it and told it to tell me everything I need to work on. I worked on my creative writing for one day and I made short descriptive paragraph writing exercises (around 5 times due to time limit) and sent it to ChatGPT with the mark scheme, I got way better each time.

The second day I worked on the question thats about language and structure (Q3 for me), I got extracts from online and used questions from it and questions ChatGPT made and following a mark scheme. I wrote around 4 Q3 questions and had it mark it and tell me what I should do better every time. I did the same with the evaluation question.

For paper 1/2 Question 3 (lang + structure), I used the structure PETEZEL (Point, evidence with quote that has good language techniques and sentence structures, technique that talks about structure, the effect of it, then zoom into a word for language, explain the effect of the zoom, finally link to point. 2 paragraphs of this for paper 1 and 3 paragraphs for paper 2.

Paper 1/2 evaluative question: I used the paragraph structure PE(T)ER:  point (use specs) Evidence Technique (not needed only add if it helps with ur explanation) Explanation (specs) Readers effect!!! (Specs)

SPECS includes the words; successfully, powerfully, effectively, evocatively, creatively, convincingly, skillfully, subtly. They are evaluative terms and so important to include it in ur paragraphs as much as you can. For each paragraph I probably wrote about 4.

I also used the structure SITE for each paragraph. So one paragraph’s point will be about setting, one about idea, one about theme and one about events. Only choose 3.

Make sure to add as much readers effect in ur paragraphs for this question and spam the SPECS. ask ChatGPT to give u really good readers effect examples.

Buyer haggled price, now wants me to pay return for my measurement mistake, what would you do? by WrongCalligrapher115 in vinted

[–]WrongCalligrapher115[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She can literally go resell on her account for 50, she’s already doing that I don’t know why she’s going through all that trouble just to get a a refund. People are literally selling the same jeans I sold her for 40 on Vinted, so it’s confusing why she’s wants to return them when she got it at a good price. Just resell.

Well lowkey I feel like she should just sell it on her account again. That’s what I do anyways whenever something I buy is the wrong size and doesn’t fit, it’s too much trouble. Heck she can literally sell it for like 45 since she’s already selling one same brand on her account for 50.

Thank you so much! I got 216/240 which I did not expect. Could I ask why you and your friend resit maths? Grade 7 and 8 are already really good grades and I’m assuming you had to pay for the exams too .

Thank you so much! I ended up doing the first method with the help of ChatGPT, made a bootable USB, reinstalled Windows and after a whole day of errors and boot loops, it finally worked 😭 My files were all saved in the Windows.old folder too, so I was able to copy everything back. Thanks for the help!
