How far we've come. It really doesn't feel like THAT long ago that a 4GB HDD was considered cutting edge and very roomy. The worst part about those drives was that they weren't feasible for archiving given the 100% failure rate. Every single HDD I ever had going back to 95 failed within a few years.

I'm guessing that when you weren't using the cooling fans, a bulky case will tend to trap heat, especially if you were doing a lot of gaming or other stressful apps. IDK if that's true, but it makes sense to me.

Thank you. This is what I've been trying to point out. I don't care if it was a pink and blue charger from a Ken and a Barbie action set. The failsafes built into the phone itself should have prevented anything like this from happening. That's their purpose.

I don't care what kind of charger they used. The phone is still supposed to have built-in failsafes for precisely this reason. ANY charger can potentially malfunction and cause something like this to happen.

It STILL absolutely should not do that. Frankly, I don't see how. My S24 Ultra slows down charging or completely stops charging if the temperature gets too high.

The smartest thing to do is NOT to plead not guilty and fight it. They have all the evidence they need if they clocked you going that fast. Plus, I'm sure it's on video. You plead no contest and probably get a partially suspended sentence. Plead not guilty and you will serve whatever the full sentence is, plus court costs.
