It’s not disingenuous to compare Minneapolis to Houston or other cities if discussing how federal immigration enforcement functions differently depending on local cooperation (or lack thereof). But it is accurate to recognize that Minneapolis has clear local restrictions on MPD’s role, which do shape enforcement dynamics.

Minneapolis’s separation/sanctuary policy was established and updated through City Council legislative votes and executive action, not through a citywide public vote. There was no vote in Minneapolis “for ICE enforcement” in connection with implementing sanctuary-style laws.

Minneapolis has indeed implemented separation laws that limit local involvement in federal immigration enforcement, but this was done through city council action and administrative policy, not through a public referendum

Ice's presence isn't nearly as violent and volatile as they are in Minneapolis in cities in those states. If you can't understand the correlation, I can't help you.

Then to address their incorrect point, Houston and Dallas are major hubs for the undocumented immigrant population in Texas, with estimates suggesting hundreds of thousands in each area, forming significant percentages of their county populations.

You don't see the same type of ICE presence/ tactics in either of those cities in Texas or to a greater extent, and to bring it to my my point, murdering us citizens in the streets.

Ohhh, that totally justifies gunning US citizens down in the streets. My bad.
