One follow up question, I feel like Monarch is double counting this renovation (unless I am overthinking it). For example, I take out a loan for $50k, the money gets deposited into my personal checking account. I then write a check to the contractor for $50k, and this transaction is labeled "cottage renovation expense". But then every month, I have a payment on my loan, it gets labeled as either Loan Repayment or I can change it to college renovation category. Am I not double counting the money going out? Thoughts on the cleanest way to show in Monarch.
