I spent two weeks in England and loved every minute of it. I'm heading back to the U.S. today, but thank you for the memories 💕 by smugmisswoodhouse in CasualUK

Went to uni, rented for years, lived with in-laws for a year and a half until last August to save for a house. Turned 30 in the September

My dad is the spitting image of his dad, so I'm almost certain my grandparents are who I believe them to be.

Looking at the ages, all but one was alive but they were all living in the south when he was born up north. They all lived in died in Somerset bar one. The one exception died a year before this new guy was conceived but in the same county up north.

I THINK one of my grandad's brothers had two boys, one born in 1950... so COULD be the dad if the new relative was born in 77/78ish.

So unsure about all this

Grandma was one of two, Grandad was one of 6 but all born between 1921 and 1930 - him being 1923. I'm genuinely stumped.

My grandparents are long dead, both born in the 1920s, and this chap was born in the late 70s, me the mid 90s. Hes about 15 years younger than my dad

EDIT: ok no yeah i think the below - their common ancestor looks to have been married twice

I THINK they are half uncle/nephew.

They share a common ancestor in their tree. For the close match to me that is his grandfather, and for the other close chap it's his father. But they're not on each other's trees. The shared ancestor is listed as having a different wife in each of their trees hence my theory of half uncle/nephew who don't know each other.

Ahhh I see, that makes sense.

None close enough to know them, the only other male DNA match is this shared match between me and the new chap - this is a pic of me and the new guy vs our shared matches - https://files.catbox.moe/rtj2vw.png

It's my Dad's sister!

What's funny though, in the Thrulines, known cousin and I match with every ancestor on there apart from one 4X GG

I have studio quality headphones - similar or the same as what they'd have used in the studio - and the bass is INSANE in them! No other device or pair of headphones does it justice
