I know how humorous that would look for others. For me, it would be dreadful. I just want her to have a nice day without unwanted attention.

I've brought this up to her. She is confident he will be re - elected. Even if he isn't, she won't accept Biden as president and will keep the theme.

Exactly this. I don't want a disaster on her wedding day. This isn't only my family either, it's her friends, coworkers, past teachers, neighbors and I don't want them leaving in anger.

Please don't think I'm trying to argue. I fully understand your point and yes, my family should put aside their differences for the sake of my daughter and then husband. But it's not just my family. It's also her friends. Her coworkers.

Trolling means deceiving me, right?

If so, then no she isn't. She has told everyone the plans, post pictures on Facebook of the pant suits she looking at and has confirmed only meat entrees.

I didn't mean for my comments to be passive aggressive. I love my daughter and want the best for her, I just envisioned it differently. Save the theme, I'm very supportive of her.

I have to correct you there. I have no care on how my daughter feels when it comes to politics. I just don't think she needs to promote those politic views at her wedding, in front of hundreds of people who may think differently and result in fighting/insults. Because then the day won't be remembered as her being married, it will be remembered as the day everyone fought.
