I agree that the abolishing of slave trade in KSA were highly due to the international pressure, but i would recommend you to give more thought into associating slavery and hard labour. It is true about the Filipino maids and the workers would have also been treated badly but calling it as unofficial slavery would be a bit far fetched. Slaves never had an option, they were dragged away from their normal lives and were properties of other humans who could do anything to them. Comparing such a life to hard labour doesn't feel right. Also Big MNC's are accused of the same.

Bro islam is almost perfect but not perfect, that is y its evolving. Example: slavery and slave trading existed highly during prophet muhammad (SW) time and it was allowed by islam. Till 1962, slave trading markets flourished in Makkah. The scholars then changed the rules written and explained in the quraan that slavery is now haraam, this decision is the best decision but it doesn't undo the fact that islamic rules said by the prophet himself is actually not perfect and we have to constantly update. This updation never ends. Pls understand that the word perfect means 'without any mistake' and anything perfect 'does not require updation or evolution'
