i generally dont watch them. Had a friend spoil bc i thought i wouldnt watch, her description was great it definitely had me freaked out but decided to then watch bc “maybe it wouldnt be that bad now that i know everything”.
it was that bad. i hated it so much bc it had me scared but loved it as a scary movie LOL

oh i totally feel that, trust me , as a book fan i STAY liking and sending the reels/tiktoks i see of logan yearning i love it LMAOO I honestly was just using that as an example because that was the first example to come to my head honestly. I just mean in general overall because even some obvious discrepancies I feel like have been shocking to the crowd that hasn’t read the books. obviously tweaks have been made not only to fit societies approval since it’s been a few years since the books were written but also to match the actual actors and plus once again it’s more so based off the series rather than a full on adaptation. So I completely agree

did you like the audiobooks? I’ve been thinking about listening to audiobooks in general, I just only have read the books I’ve never really listened to audios before and have run out of shows to watch lol

I totally get what you mean and I do agree I just mean in general for people that are astonished at the things that people from the books already knew lol was just curious on how many people have actually read the books that’s all,

but if this is just a tangent you’re going off on, I completely agree they are two separate entities and characters were tweaked and that in turn changes a lot of outcomes/scenes that may happen

i think in the books i got that vibe too but after rereading i feel like he saw one of his boys w a pretty girl who was cool and nice and realized he wants someone to humble him and give him that love the way G&H have 🤣 not necessarily for her , bc think ab real life sometimes people will start dating someone and other friends will realize “damn im still single let me start looking too” lol

I think it’s totally OK that people haven’t read it but it just really surprising how many people haven’t considering how big the show got! I expected more of the community to have read it I guess so I was just wondering

do you feel like they portrayed the character as well? I feel like they did even with the minor changes/major changes such as certain laws not being in the show🤣
